    Nope, you’re just being simplistic. Our drives often involve kicking it back out and rarely do we go inside to force them to defend us on a midrange shot. We drive, kick and shoot threes. Other teams drive to get it to a big man, for a pull up, floater, midrange shot. These lead to more potential fouls. Then there’s post ups, mid to long range shots off the dribble. We don’t do any of that. Try again.

    So? Does that mean we should automatically get FTs? Like I said, and you know this so don't play dumb, we either drive to get a layup or drive to kick it out. That's it. Other teams drive for a variety of reasons and pose more threats to get potentially fouled on a shot or drive. Also we have shorter guys going up against bigs and have shorter guys on bigs thus less fouls for them, more fouls on us. It just makes sense. If you don't get that, there's no point in discussing.

    all that is just weak explanations and rationalizations

    So how were we 2nd in the league in attempts in the regular season playing the exact same way drawing more fouls than pretty much any other team?

    4th in drives, 2nd in shot attempts at the rim, but dead last in free throws...yup, makes perfect sense

    He'd be so piss-poor, is what I'm thinking. This pandemic and hurricane have been too expensive, I'd imagine, for him to take on the prospect of rebuilding the Rockets franchise. Or maybe we'll get to watch cheap players for a couple decades? Man, I hope we win tonight, and go on to win it all. I just can't face the fate of, say, NY Knick fans.

    Need Harden to will us to a win tonight. He's going to have to step outside if his comfort zone to get this one done. We've seen what happens when he tries to leave it to D'Antoni and Westbrook.
