Oh well, I think the playoff is probably done. This country has abolished slavery a long time ago, so the players can refuse to perform (play). There is no specific performance. The owner may refuse to pay the contract or ask for damages, but I doubt they will do that. The NBA most likely will not. This is a player's league and if the players do want to play collectively, there is nothing you could do about that.

I know it won't matter, but if they cancel the rest of the playoffs I'm done with the nab. I will still be active on this board but NBA will be dead to me. Already done with the NFL.

 

So this guy accused of assault is already guilty, but we should hold off on judging the cop who literally shot him 7 times in the back. Got it.

not the cops fault that Blake didn’t comply. That’s on Blake period. If you see different, then it’s because you see color in this.

 

Vast majority of cops in the US are state or locally chartered. NBA players should be banging down the doors at the City Halls and Capitol Buildings as needed (instead, the Bucks are trying to call the WI attorney general. OK, but a bit misguided and naive). I'm behind the reason for the boycott, and I'm good with postponing if players weren't of a mind to be able to compete, but I agree with those who say the boycott won't solve anything. A boycott needs an agenda. A movement needs demands. We want D, therefore you must do A, B, C. There's too much random emotional venting going on. Again I'm not opposed to the reasons for it, but I'm a data scientist...

And I get a kick out of those who want to boycott the boycott. What a time to be alive. Social media has really confused everyone on how to actually make a difference.
