In such situations I typically recommend my fans try to imagine what I would have said. Things like:

"About ****ing time that ________ did ________."
"_____ has been really _____ all game."
"Saw that coming."
"What the **** was that?"
"_____ has been ass all game."
"_____ has played well."
"If ______ had done ______ then we would have _____."
"We only ____ because _____ did ______."

And then after the game:

"Ok so what if we lost? It's only game 1. We're fine."
"Losing game 1 is huge - now the pressure is on."
"Winning game 1 means nothing - we have to keep our foot on the gas."
"After this win, I foresee an easy series the rest of the way."

 

Giannis just picked up his 4th foul with the Magic up 6.

Refs are targeting him like they used to with Harden. Same move he gets away with all season (digging his shoulder into opponent's chest basically), they're calling him for it in this game.

Imagine if they suddenly started calling Lebron on a move they never did before. Would never happen.

You're the one who said Covington is the 5 on this team. When i pointed out that Tucker is the one that matches against Centers, you say everyone plays the 5. I don't even.......

Obviously everyone GETS a chance to defend the center with the way we switch everything on the perimeter. But when we're running back on defense.....

Tucker is going to be one that checks the Center.
Westbrook sprints back to defend the point.
Covington sticks to the opposing team's superstar wing.
House guards the other scoring threat and
Harden is left with whoever is the least threatening on the perimeter.

Our defensive assignment is not that hard to figure out.

 

Read my response carefully again, Covington spends a 3rd of his time defending centers, Tucker spends less than a 3rd (31%) of his time defending centers.

Again, just look up their PPP on NBA stats.

It really is not rocket science man.

If Tucker spends less than a 3rd of his time defending centers, what is he doing with the rest of his time(nearly 70%) on defense? Watching TV? We have eyes, we know he checks the center nearly all the time when he's on the court. I really want to know what stats you're pulling out your ass on this.
