He's an idiot. A few losses will make them mad and they need to rest and stay away from injuries. I saw his quote on not resting players and even after last year anyone who would say that in regards to this team is stupid. Harden got injured refusing to rest at the end of the season last year.

Mda isnt an idiot. Far from it.

They have gotten plenty of rest and will probably rest the last day of the season before getting a couple days off in between the end of the season and the start of the playoffs.

This is the last real game for about a week.

I don't know why people want OKC to play GSW. I rather the Jazz get that. Kick OKC out the playoffs.

A Rockets win coupled with a Nuggets win would put OKC at #9, get those mofos out of the playoffs

Nothing to see here, he actually acknowledged that the criteria change all the time.

I just realized that the Thunder don't own any tiebreaks against NOP (1-2), Denver (1-3), Twolves (1-3), or Spurs (2-2, but their conference record is worse). Losing any more games could be catastrophic for them. They only have a tiebreak over the jazz but that may not even matter since the Jazz could very likely finish with a better record.

Rockets need to put their foot on the throat and destroy OKC tonight. Would LOVE to see Westbrick out of the playoffs.

if Russ managed to average a triple double again but his team missed the playoffs after adding Paul George and Melo

that scenario is almost too good to be true

Yeah I wanna kick OKC to the curb. I want Russ’ legacy to reflect his inability to lead a team with 3 stars to the playoffs. At least Harden took Dwight to the 8th seed

I believe a Houston win will knock OKC to 9th.

Oh, piss off. D'Antoni has managed Harden's minutes well throughout the year despite a lot of injuries to the lineup.

Screw Westbrick and OKC. We BETTER try to win this game. Get them out of the playoffs. Would be the ultimate embarrassment for Presti and the Thunder.

I don't know whether I want us to win or lose.
Feels good to be in a position to be able to say that.

    Thanks!

    On our way now.

WAYWARD NEPHEW UPDATE: The lad got told by his grandfather that, no, he would not be wearing his Russell Westbrook jersey while sitting next to the courtside/Rockets tickets his grandfather got him as his Christmas present.

These are the valuable life lessons that forge character in our youth. Righteousness has prevailed.

    @tinman @Rocketman95

I’ll still be the handsome devil in the ‘95 Rockets t-shirt made by Champion.

We should step up and take a potential playoff opponent seriously as the playoffs are less than week away, so we should beat OKC. But if we beat OKC today, we might knock them out of the playoffs altogether! It's a catch 22.

Honestly, I'm not worried about OKC at all in the playoffs. Westbrook would shoot them out of any series. I'm actually more worried about Denver, who has a stronger home court advantage and better shooters. Jokic is just a monster right now. They have more potential to surprise.
