The most satisfying game I watched this season.

They were at full strength, JDub was hitting everything, Chet had 6 3's, and it still didn't matter.

Alpi and Jalen were great, Amen 2/2 on 3's and a F U block on Shai, Tate and Steve with good minutes, Bari dominating the boards, even Fred was a plus tonight.

Great game guys, so proud of you!

To be fair, wasn't Pau a 4 in truth? I still see more Pau than Jokic in Sengun's game, Jokic plays way more on the perimeter. Alpi at the 4 seems to give him more leverage (ironically, like it would at his size in the post-play days at the 4 - less so at the 5) when he's got a bully ball partner banging in the post. He seems genuinely unguardable when he's on fire at the 4.

Rockets win, Kings win, Suns lose, just need the Coogs to take down the blue devils to make it complete

Best game of Alpi’s career by a country mile. This is the level of aggression we need from Alpi EVERY SINGLE NIGHT!

Sengun not soft. Ime be handicapping Sengun when he plays DB at 4

Sengun with Bari or Adams is elite.

We essentially beat the best team in the league, and it felt like a wire-to-wire victory, even though it wasn’t. The Thunder made their runs, but each and every time, we had an answer for it. FVV played the right way and the perfect way today. Hit those important shots and keep our young stars hot! Bari and Amen were phenomenal too, and I truly think they work so well together because of their basketball IQ.

Jalen had a very sustainable 30-point game. His shooting didn’t have to be red-hot for him to be dominant.

And I cannot say enough about Alperen Sengun. Played like the best big in the world tonight!

The future is bright, but the present is beautiful as well! Let’s ****ing go Rockets!

and tbh... i love the depth of this squad!

There's nobody that I would say HAS to even be on the floor during clutch time - depending on how they vs their teammates r performing on any given night.

let alone requiring somebody be 'the guy' taking those clutch shots - regardless of how theyve performed thus far that night...

Yeah but I remember Pau being more of a shooter whereas Sengun seems more like a driver.

Maybe Sengun is just unique, he has passing skills like Jokic but also pretty good dribbling and driving skills like a guard along with premier post scoring ability.

I wonder if we would’ve won by as much with Dillon playing…he’s ostensibly our best shooter but he likes to hijack the offense at times, and when Jalen was struggling to hit shots in the third quarter he might have taken it upon himself to shoot a ton.

And defensively I don’t really know if he could’ve made us better tonight. I love Dillon, but man…I feel like I just peered into a crystal ball and saw our guys all grown up tonight.

Rockets win! (Cavs also won, barely). This should force OKC to beat the Lakers twice (Sun & Tue with both games at OKC).

Alpi and Jalen stepped up to the plate like they needed to in order to beat the best team in the NBA and snap their winning streak at 11.

Amen was Amen. He even hit two 3s and had a great block on SGA late.

Steven Adams is a force on offense opponents must contend with. He's become the modern day Dennis Rodman on the glass. If teams can't capitalize and shred the double-big lineup, they are in trouble.

Fred does well taking an economy of shots and letting Amen do most of the work.

Jabari went gangster on the boards (17). He and Adams (and Amen) were so dominant there were few rebounds available for Alpi.

Tari with a very forgettable performance. He was the only Rockets player with a negative +/-.

    Tate haters, just go away.

Next up: At Golden State Sunday evening.

    - First game I can remember when all five starters had good games.

    - Now two wins each against okc and cleveland; one against boston.

    - Gotta get this version of us for the playoffs and not the one that went on a losing streak against not-very-good-teams after owning a supposedly tough part of the schedule

Yeah. I thought starting the double-big was just plain dumb because I expected OKC to capitalize on the defensive weaknesses.
