    No, Howard has never been the best player in Houston. Highest paid, sure.

    Jeff is saying it starts with your best players and I'd agree. But not the case with Houston.

    The Rockets suck this year, I wouldn't defend them either. Actually Barkely has taken it easy on Houston this year. He probably feels sorry for us, lol.

    He repped us when we came back against the Clippers and was high on us to start the season. Can't really defend a crappy team this season.

    It's probably him having lower expectations for the Rockets before the season started than other analysts.

    that's why i dont complain about the refs any more. they make so many dumb calls in a game it usually washes out.
