I predict a Rockets blowout victory. We're going to drop 3pt bombs like we did against GSW. Rockets by at least 15.

 

Come on! Stop all the cliche! Lin always sucks when he is not allowed to be a primary ball handler! Was his poor performance really a surprise to you when seeing three guys sharing his game, forcing him to be a spot up shooter? Not like Lin, harden can thrive in different roles; he excels at being a pure sg, a great pg when he is focused on the team play instead of his ego. He is just natural! To me, it's more than evident that for the better team performance, harden should focus on being the former role, saving more energy for his D, and let Lin dish the ball, coz Lin's game always makes everyone involved. He is the kind of player that statistics cant always show what he is capable of. He can make everyone on the court do the right thing and play with ease. I don't see why the coaching staff doesn't even want to try to make this work. All they do is just keep satsfying hardens' ego, and there were surely some games that they can coexist on the court, in which the ball movement was efficient and precise, but it seams that apparently mchail doesn't like this game strategy. Trust me, the 3 pgs game plan might lift us up for 1 game, but will definitely
be exposed if used twice or more. Beverly's 12 rebounds with 5 being offensive ones is something we can't count on every game, coz the mismatches will be just there and we will be easily out rebounded if the pace of the game slows down.

Make us proud...You guys should check out the ESPN First Take segment (on YouTube) where Bun B tells off SAS and S Bayless that Houston will come out on top in the West this year. The reactions from them two...PRICELESS. IT was taken back in Feb after the Rox beat the OKC Thieves.

 

Do you guys think we'll stick with the same line-up for game 3, like we had for game 2, assuming Lin is good to go?

The only reason that Bev was put in, was to try and counter WB. Now that WB is effectively out for at least this series, should we go with the more traditional line-up? Or is small ball still the name of the game?

Nope!!! We leave our foot on the gas pedal and tire their team out with this lineup.

Their bench is junk. Losing Westbrook is basically losing 40% of your team.

 

Sorry about Westbrook, BUT, got to jump on them hard. It will be difficult for them to adjust, but they will try. Hit with everything we have before they get it right if they can. This is an unexpected open door. They are not nearly as good without him.

 

They are going to come out with a lot of passion, try to rally around this...

It's a must win obviously. I thikn before it was a must win just to get respect and you know not get swept...but now it is a legit must win that if they win this they could have a chance at taking the series.

It's a small chance because Durant>>>Harden...but it is a chance that we did not have before.
