I'm a little conflicted. I can't stand the Clippers, and Utah would give GS a tougher series, but the better Utah does in the playoffs the lower our chances are of ever getting Gordon Hayward in FA (not that they were that high to begin with).

Leave it to the Rockets to keep me on the edge of my seat til the last second again. Yes!!!!!!!!!! We did it!!!!! We won with some of the ugliest offense we have played all year too. Just like I hoped to do though. Our streaky shooters are saving their best for last. Moving on up!!!!! Go Rockets!!!!

Not trying to be an ******* but it's the first round and you were a six seed, what did he expect? Did he really think he was going to win a championship this year? Damn did the media blow Westbrook up so big he really thought he was going to average a triple double in the nba finals? Lol

Exactly. This dude must of had a dream about playing KD in the WCF. I respect his tenacity but bruh is off. Did you see what he wore to the game? I wouldn't even wear that to bed (in case someone broke in my house and saw me) much less on national TV.

I actually want us to face spurs, just want to shut all those Fing media up by kicking them out of the second round.

He averaged a triple double on his way to the airplane ticket home. Team > Individual.

    I'm torn on this one.

Reasons to root for the Clippers:

    1) Sympathy - I admit it. I feel bad for that organization. As a Rockets fan for a quarter century, I know what it's like to root for a team that gets undercut by injuries to key guys including in the playoffs. This is 2 straight years their postseason hopes were torpedoed by Blake Griffin going down.

    2) Clippers vs. Warriors - Those two teams genuinely hate each other. Golden State would smoke the Clippers in the second round, but it would be fun to watch them go at it nevertheless.

    3) Gordon Hayward's impending free agency - If the Jazz lose in Round 1, the likelihood of Hayward bolting to another team increases. I'd love to have him here, but short of that, I'd be fine with him leaving for a team like the Celtics. That would destroy the Jazz before they ever have a chance to accomplish anything with this current roster.

Reasons to root for the Jazz:

    1) Jazz vs. Warriors - Golden State will almost certainly win that series assuming Durant stays healthy, but Utah could make them work for it. The Jazz are the only team to beat the Warriors(in Oakland no less) since early March. They have the kind of size in their frontcourt that could give Golden State problems.

    2) Clippers blow it up - If the Clippers lose in Round 1, it could finally prompt Ballmer to make major changes that are long overdue. And while that may be the best thing for this organization long-term, it would benefit the Rockets in the short term as it removes one of the 2nd tier contenders they compete with every year for home court in the playoffs.
