Lets look at those matchups...

So are you confident SGA is better than Edwards in a 7 game series?

Better than PG13 or Harden?

Better than Murray who turns into Kobe every post-season?

Better than Booker? Beal if he's healthy?

D.Fox who also shows out every post season now?

Luka?

This is what I mean? I have NO idea, I haven't seen him against these guys in a playoff series. The playoffs are just a different beast, some guys aren't ready for it (and we've had our share of those players) while some guys go to another level during it.

I have no idea what kind of player SGA will be in the playoffs and OKCs hopes pin mostly on him. I also wouldn't call Minny contenders for the same reason. They also have to prove it.

 

Of course, SGA has trained himself in the art of a Dwyane Wade or Kobe....

Do his practices bear fruits? Maybe....but you better get used to someone who is improving and making big strides every 50 games.....

Get used to it.

As a fan I have confidence, but to tell you the truth, the Celtics should have won 2 championships by now, and they did not....they are due....anything can happen, the NBA is that wide open.

Didn't read any of this but the fact that you spend so much time after the Thunder dunked the Rockets into the toilet after tearing up the rest of the league - trying to explain to us all that they're not really actually good at all is a *significant* step to real contender hood for them.

You could also argue (Ime said so) that we went away from the kickouts that gave really good looks the 1st half). You could also say that he had like ONE shot the 3rd qtr. I think he put up a 3/4 court shot to end the half. This is a ball hog team that continues to not learn anything from losses.Let's talk about bad shooting and play here:

FVV - THREE ASSISTS- blocked every time he went in the lane...grossly overpaid(Bari had 4 assists himself)
Amen-2 of 10 shooting,6 rebounds
Jalen-5 of 13 shooting

The last 2 games Bari has played 41 mins. in each game. Laughingly, Ime pulled him in the 1st when he was 4 of 4 shooting.Still ...even with him not getting the ball for basically 2 1/2 qtrs. he still shot 40%(6/15). Oh yeah, he got 17 rebounds(of 50 total) and scored 20 pts.( tied for the lead with FVV who was 7/16). The good fortune for FVV was he controls who gets the ball...which means him this game..again, with 3 big assts. for the whole game. I think you are being harsh on him. The guy has 33 rebounds, 42 pts., in the last 2 games and played 41 mins. in each.

I know what Luka does in the playoffs. He absolutely dominates. I have no idea if that is true of SGA yet.

 

Don't know what we would have done without his 3 assists.

How about the year when they finished 2nd in the West? Since regular season is all that matters, what was that 2022?

 

Jabari, Amen, Cam, are the core. Sengun too but you need a defensive big to go along with him. Jalen can go.
