Saw the Thunder at Chik-fil-a in the Park Shops in downtown.







I was struck by how skinny ALL of them were. Perry Jones III and Jeremy Lamb are sticks.

McHale is perfect. If we lost, it is because of the players, like it is always the case, according to McHale.

 

It would be great if Rox could win but I hope at least the Rox compete in this game. The Thunder have absolutely dominated overall in the two games earlier this year. The problem is this is just a match-up nightmare for the Rox. They know Harden's game and tendencies better than anyone and he has really struggled against them. Lin really has no chance I feel at guarding Westbrook. Last year Parson's defense bothered Durant some but Parsons is not as good defensively this year. Everything is pointing to a loss for the Rox, but like that old saying goes, you don't play the game on paper. We'll see.

 

I like this. Addressing Rockets deficiencies:
1.) Defense
2.) Turn-overs
3.) Lack of screens, too much iso and 3points.

Key to the game:

Don't let Harden run the offense until they slack off on him.
Parsons will need to step up his ball handling and play making because Lin and Harden will always be forced off the ball via double teams.
Lin needs to make his first few shots so that defense key up on him instead of Harden giving Harden free reign later.
Asik set good picks to relieve some offensive pressure.
Patterson rebounds the offensive ball and abuse the board when Harden and Lin is trapped via double team.

 

The Lakers are finished. They can basically only lose 7 more games to get to 45 wins. Do you really think that team is going 21-7 in the last 28 games to finish the season? It's on us to catch Golden State and Utah. We also have the easiest schedule out of the teams fighting for the eighth spot. The Rockets have their destiny in their own hands.

they know how to guard harden, and know it well. hope the coached looked at previous game film and come up with some counter to what they were doing with harden.

and harden has got to trust his teammates and move the ball. i know he wants this one bad, but he's gotta let the team help him get it.

on D, let westbrook take all the long 2pt jumpers he wants. i believe durant has the ability to beat a team on his own but westbrook does not. contain durant and let westbrook take 30 shots to score 25 points.

Anyway, Im ready for tonight's loss. As long we don't lose by more than 10, I consider it a moral victory.

 

Lin needs to stop dressing and acting like a scrub. He still has the scrub mentality. At least he wasn't as segregated at the all star weekend as David Lee though.
