TATE deserves more minutes from his years of suffering here

He's getting back into his offensive flow . On D he's still one of our best impact guys.

Smart to take him out with 2 fouls tho. Can be used against SGA in the second half .

It's been jalen and kpj that have been gifted the minutes. Right now we see playing better team basketball , even if it's still a learning process. The body language and effort on the floor is better .

Not saying Jalen and kpj aren't capable . They are . They've demonstrated it before and have had good games this year . Buuut , some of their mins need to go .

We see what a blessing some more playing time for JC and Nix (even) . Tate and kmj and sengun and everyone else gets to eat some of the usage that used to be dominated by those 2.

They need to be watching closely right now .the team cannot just gift them minutes when they come back . They should have to earn it with their play.

The frontcourt , where sengun , Tari, Bari, usman , and Fernando have all had to compete for mins ( with Jabari the only one getting preferential treatment ) is the group of players who have shown more growth over the year

And frankly you've already established precedent that you can lose time coming off an injury because Tate is down to a pittance of minutes despite being the vet and previously having a starting spot .

 

I like sengun and you are free to extoll him all you like . Don't put words in my mouth .

I get a feeling that if if Christopher got the same treatment by the org as Jalen, he’d be as good if not better
