While I appreciate your feelings, but isn't this way too extreme for something that happend years ago?

I personnally don't think we'd be this version of the Rockets without Shane. And I LOVE this version. Of course I don't know how it would've played out if we got who we really wanted.

Rockets.com post Thunder game interviews with Battier, Budinger, Lowry

Some quotes already in Feigan's game story, others not.

JCF also has a nice game story with a lot of quotes.

    http://www.nba.com/rockets/news/rockets_bench_brigade_leads_h_2009_11_06.html

Battier joking with a reporter on Kyle Lowry's shotblocking. Also says "it's a good thing" that Durant and Westbrook scored all of their points since the Rockets try to limit opponent ball movement and "make it an iso game." (Kind of interesting... both this game and last the opponent had high star scorers, but low overall team efficiency).

Budinger has very much the Tim Duncan thing going with his pecs, which is not a good thing. It may be why he fell so low on the draft.

This has been rehashed time after time, but count me on the Battier side. For last season Battier + 252 when he was in the game, Gay -435. yes the Grizzlies sucked, but Gay was last on his own team in +/-. You wonder why he didn't get extended?

    Bad comparison.

    Shane Battier>>>>>>>Kwame Brown
    Pau Gasol>>>>>Rudy Gay

where's the evidence that Gay would be a better fit? I'm not sure why saying "shane fit better" is an opinion to you, yet you say gay would fit better like it's a sure thing. It's not. Neither was. Just like shane ended up being the wrong pick due to injuries and a bonzi acquisition gone wrong, Gay could have turned out to be the wrong acquisition too. What if Yao and tmac never got injured, what if they evolved like we all though they would and we actually had too much scoring? What if we made it to the finals and lost because we lacked enough defense? Then what? Then we'd all be crying for shane and would have blamed Morey for not getting what we "needed" at the time. Nothing is set in stone in life. Different decisions affect the future differently in all aspects of life. For all we know getting rudy would have meant not going after landry and brooks. Maybe we don't go after Spanoulis and never have something to get Scola with. Maybe we'd now have a lineup of rafer, gay, ariza, swift and chuck. Who knows. All i know is there's no "Dr." in front of Rudy's Gay name, so im going to stop wondering what if and take things from where they are now....

Should the offense shift more to the insider since Hayes, Scola and Landry are so efficient so far or continue to work in the current mode to develop Ariza?
I would love to see the players with more than 50 FG pct to take more shots.

It would be better to keep what we are doing, to share the ball and to have Ariza improving his skills. This should be a better choice for long term.

We are lucky to have them both....Rick Adelman has done a great job of matching up players they play with, and their skill sets.

Lowry can not shoot, but likes to run, so he needs finishers.

Brooks is not as good at assisting on the run, so he has spot up shooters surrounding him as he breaks down the defense with the dribble.

    A great coaching job.

Both had too many Turnovers for my taste. That is a fact which you seem to underestimate.

They're both young and have the ball in their hands for the majority of the game.

You can't expect too much from them.
