It's like a bad twilight zone episode where every two weeks they say it will be another two weeks.

You won't like my answer but the year I took off from watching the Rockets because of Artest did wonders for my disposition. None of this seems to faze me anymore. Now I look at their record, watch the games, shrug at the loss and update their record. Then I get ready to do it all again the next game.

Another loss for the Rockets and Durant will have a monster game of course. I expect 10 point loss atleast. Where of course turns ugly in the 4th which always happens with this team.

Anyone familiar with Magnum Rolle? Why can't he get a deal? Besides getting injured recently...

    Agree.

And it's not that I love them less because I will never become a fan of another, but...

    (looking for an analogy....)

It's like a long relationship, I guess. (LOL, and it has been - 30yrs) Afterwhile you just don't sweat the small stuff. In this case a bad year.

Ah hell. It's basketball and I love basketball!!!!

Today, it'll be the Texans first and then the Rockets next. How about a double win for Houston? Nah, I do not want to put my hopes up. I guess it is too much to ask. Christmas can't come soon enough so, at least, there's something to celebrate.

That was with Yao on the court, our best player.

Even if Yao played like that now he still would be good enough defensively to lead or help this team get over the hump. Yao was not leading that team! If he was ever leading this team... this team would be at a better state and position then it is now. Real superstars make a difference even when there playing less than 100% or sometimes not at all... Yao just is not that kind of guy that demands his teammates on or off the court.

My expectations were obviously too high for this team before the season started.

I have tried to remain hopeful that this team is better than their record but I simply don't believe that any more.

I am planning to watch the game again because that is what I do, but I am expecting a loss. That won't keep me from enjoying the good plays and yelling at the tube when someone misses a defensive assignment or jacks up another ill advised jumper or gives up an uncontested turnover.

I don't think the return of Yao and Brooks is likely to change things enough to sway my opinion that this team (as currently constructed) doesn't have what it takes to be in contention.

I really wish Aldeman would start Hill this game. Resigning Hayes, is stunting the growth of our younger players. I think Taylor should get more minutes, but I won't get into that......

4-12, At this rate, they'll win about 20 games all year.
