That's not the point. The point is that after he had a fracture in his foot last year and rushed back for the Olympics , he was supposed to not play heavy minutes this year. Yet, here he is averaging 40 mpg and that for an entire season is very very risky.

You are obviously watching a different game. Yao was not even bending over and puffing like he used to do. And he wasn't running around on the offense while directing traffic.

I meant he was running around on the offensive end.

Has RA ever been asked since the beginning of this season about the minutes that Yao & T-Mac are playing?

These are my shooting stats for the 1st three games:

    2-8
    1-6
    2-9

I also have this whacky right-to-left curl when I raise the ball up for a jump shot.

    Who am I?

Good win... We still look pretty sloppy, but i think we will pull together with more experience. It was also nice to see Tracy step up and lead the rockets in scoring. 3-0 baby! lets F**K up the c's on tuesday!!!

well, what's the point of resting him if he's not even in shape to play in games? He doesn't practice or train much any more, according to adelman. So how else is he going to stay conditioned, besides playing more minutes in games?

Yao play seconed longest of the team in all this 3 games,

Then i really don't see he will be healthy of the whole season.

We can argue about whether Yao felt tired tonight, but it's mostly frivolous. The important matter is Yao is playing way too many minutes so far this season. Certainly limiting his practice time would help, but averaging near 40 minutes per game cannot bode well for Yao's massive body.

Well you can't fault McGrady's effort. He just needs to heal and play better D and he'll easily get the play of the game. Landry however was just terrific. So even if McGrady did play better D, I'll still give that trophy to Landry.

Yao needs more rest. Now I'm really confused with Rick. Is he trying to get us a 11 win streak in a role with a win margin of 10+? We could've got that record if it wasn't for that Hawks guy who wanted to pat his stats so he decides to go for a wide open uncontested layup (when all the Rockets players are already going back to the bench) when the game was fininhing?

As much as I hate Alston, I don't think making Aaron Brooks the starter RIGHT NOW is the answer. Brooks still needs time to mature into a steady PG, and playing as the second PG is the perfect role for him. We still need a starting PG though...

I'll repeat, How else is Yao going to stay in shape? if he's not in shape to play in games, then it's as good as a fracture in the leg.
