Nice to see that Ariza is finding his touch

Watching this game last night, OKC would get a bucket, and they would be literally running full speed back to the defensive end to try and stop us running up their backs. Man, when you do that to a team for 4 quarters, it wears them down big time defensively, takes all the starch out of their legs, they can't defend worth a flip in the 4th quarter, and their jump shooting percentage goes down the tubes in the the 4th quarter because their legs are dead. When you combine this style of play with a dominant big man next season when Yao comes back, we are going to be deadly. This is the same basic style that the Kareem/Magic Lakers teams used for 5 championships. A dominant halfcourt presence surrounded by track stars. This is the vision of where we are headed and as long as we maintain our defensive integrity with guys like Hayes/Lowry/Battier/Ariza, etc., we are going to have a lot of success.

I must say that I share your enthusiasm for this team. Lowry, Scola, Ariza, Battier, and even Brooks are all bulldogs who will outplay their competition everynight. IMO, we will win a lot of games. We will surprise people.

Had a great time at the game. Was on the oblivious cam, haha.

My bro talked a lot of **** about Budinger, but man, did Chase shut him up. Swishing 3s, crazy passes, back-to-back layups. Did a great job. My brother and I now refer to him as "White Chocolate". Was impressed with Pops ability to just slam the ball down and fight for rebounds. I think he'll definitely make the team.

Andersen was ok. Like that he's improving his range, as evidenced by his 3 pointer.
