you are right, and Harden did save his face with the last play, which was a good read. But unfortunately, the MVP momentum is going to shift towards Russ' favor after this game.

 

Glad we won but this team has definitely some concerns that need to be addressed if they aspire to get to the finals. The biggest thing that needs to be fixed is the inconsistency of Trevor Ariza's offense and overrated defense. Despite not being able to create his own shot, he is league average at best in 3pt %. Whenever he drives to the hoop with a defender waiting, you can be assured he will miss the shot. He is a second unit player at this stage of his career despite winning a championship with the Lakers long time ago...

The Rockets will not win a ring with Ariza in the starting line up.

 

If they give it to Westbrook we really can't complain about it. Dude is a beast.

I think some have forgotten how good Clint is, especially at the things we are currently lacking in. When he comes back we should be fine.

So would you rather play Utah with Gobert or Memphis with Gasol/Randolph? Or the Clippers with Jordan/Blake? OKC unfortunately is the probably going to be the easiest matchup we can get, which isn't a relaxing thought. We are a better team than them especially with Capela back. Let's see if Morey tries to add another piece before the deadline.
