Being a playoff team is easy. We were one last year.

Being a contender? We are not even close.

We just choked on NATIONAL TV.

I don't know why this trade can not be done before Feb. 20th. Why wait, lets get this deal done to get the new player or players to gel with the team.

That's just how it is. The bench is basically missing the bench version of the starting 5. You can't call the bench sucky for that reason and you can't trade based on injuries.

    Ummm....yes.

This is the NBA. More teams make the playoffs than don't.

In the NBA making the playoffs doesn't mean squat. It's advancing through them.

Rockets are not a championship team. But, they are young, and still need to gel.

The worst game of the season, I'm embarrassed to be a Rockets fan. We just showed the league that we're complete pretenders on national TV. Ibaka made Howard his b**** tonight, Harden didn't give a ****, parsons played forced all game.

Don't let this team fool you, we might beat a few scrub teams in a row, Harden might have 30, Howard may have 30, but when it comes down to it..... This team will fold. They're pretenders & worst of all they don't care.

    I miss Hakeem.

Lol at people who keep using this excuse to try to mask the fact that we're just not a good team.

    1. Like you said, everyone has back-to-backs.

    2. Maybe McHale should learn what a rotation is and not play everyone 40+ mins a night.

you dont score 73 in a half, and totally disappear in the 2nd...its all on coaching adjustments.

The Rockets need to experiment with a better lineup option against certain teams. So far, the Rockets have stunk the joint playing against teams like IND, OKC and LAC. That isnt a coincedence...brought in to coach the bigs, the bigs arent even playing good interior basketball. Kevin you McFAIL...

couple thoughts on Mchale's Coaching in the 2nd half.

At the end of the 3rd he takes out Lin, Harden and Howard. there were no play makers on the floor to end that qtr. Thunder tie the score.

Mchale leaves AB in even though he was having a terrible 2nd half I think Lin would have been much better. Garcia was in the game when Thunder were playing small. he was guarding Lamb for goodness sake! those minutes could have been given to Lin to at least push the ball with AB.

Yeah, how can our guys beat their own man AND evade a shot blocking Ibaka all by themselves w/out a pick set for them ?

Bounceback win coming. I can feel it. There better be some yelling in that locker room.

Problem I see with riding the hot hand is it really is a gamble. When your starters are out sitting too long its really hard to get the the rhythm back. There's no consistency or identity on this team yet. It really is concerning because we can't score 79 in 1st and 19 in 2nd. That is way too embarrassing

First half was fools gold. OKC was cold and Rockets were just making everything, even bad shots. 2nd half those bad shots stopped going in as well as the open ones and McHale had no answer or adjustments.

That was the worst half of basketball I've ever seen in it's entirety. That was some ugly offensive basketball. That was a catastrophic meltdown, I'm glad McHale decided to keep the worst defensive player (it's Brooks, for the dummies) on the Rockets in the game, while the landslide loss was picking up steam.

Coaching staff can't make adjustments on the fly. When the offense was stagnating in the 3rd, Lin and Howard should have been substituted for D-Mo and Brooks. When Brooks was horrible to the start the 4th, Lin should been back in. McHale has no clue what he's doing..
