That should've been a 4-pt play. Durant basically lowers his shoulder into Harden's abdomen as he's following through. Durant has become such a punk the last few years. It's sad to watch him mix up being tough versus being an ass****.

Can someone explain to me why Durant put up so few shots in the 4th? I swear every time down it was either Jackson, Waiters, or Westbrook shooting. And even Westbrook didn't get that many attempts.

You are right, threes are a streaky thing.

Funny thing. . . .the Hakeem lead rocket killed the league with threes
They decided to move the line afterwards

First, he was defended very well by Ariza, then Durant is not a aggressive guy on the court, Harden was the key man in the fourth q when he was in OKC.

This - we shot a plethora of threes during the finals against Orlando, but Shaq and Chuck, who were both on losing end of '95 playoffs series against us, don't want to acknowledge that. Conversely, Kenny, who was huge hitting 7 3's in game 1 of the finals, disagreed with Chuck and Shaq.

Eh Rockets fans criticize Dwight all the time, why can't Barkley and Shaq?

Because they refuse to give props when he actually plays well and criticize him at the expense of giving props to the rest of the team. In the post-game, they didn't any praise to Harden, no mention of his great game and season so far. All of it spent on Howard. It's a recurring theme with these clowns.

They used that type of backup plan during the Chicago game. The Bulls ran us off the three point line and didn't send us to the free throw line. We were successful in making our mid range shots and scored 62 points in the paint. But unfortunately we lost.

I doubt that game plays out the same 4 times. Bulls got extremely lucky.

Getting back into game shape. There was a stretch in the game where he was like the pre-injury Durant and I for sure thought the Rox were gonna lose.

Why do people always assume that if the 3 isn't falling the mid-range will be killer? I see it posted here all the time, when the Rox have been shooting bricks in the 3 pt line you will always see people posting about how the Rox should take more mid range shots to "provide spacing". Newsflash, 3s provide more spacing than the midrange, in fact midrange provides almost no spacing because the defender can stay in the paint and still guard the mid range shooter! It also makes no sense that if a players isn't hitting his 3s he's gonna be a midrange master, the mid range is much harder to shoot than the 3 pt. In the NBA being able to hit 3s at 35% or higher is standard, but guys like Kobe or Melo or Rudy Gay struggle to hit above 45% consistently on the mid range, and these guys are the best at it already.

The Rox are more than must a 3 pt shooting team, they also have low post scorers like Howard and DMo, guys who like to run and gun like Kpap, Ariza, Brewer and Smith, have a top flight superstar like Harden and also sport one of the best defenses in the league. If the 3s don't fall then the answer is simple, you lock that **** down and go to Harden, Howard and DMo.
