Although the injuries and fatigue are a fact of life for our beloved Rockets, I have to say for the record it's just very annoying and disappointing.

You have no idea how much expectations i have laid out on this team ever since the TMAC trade. I was delusioned to thinking we are immediately at the top of the charts, or maybe that's what I WANTED to see.

Too bad it can't be reality, or can it?

That's right... by shooting almost as many 3s as the suns team when clearly we don't have an advantage there...

Rick Fox didnt make a single shot in probably 30 some attempts in the playoff years ago. Rick was the starting SF for the Lakers, and Lakers still won the champion.

I really don't know how to rate the Rockets anymore...it's hard to tell. This team hasn't been to the playoffs (the core is completely changes save Yao), it's been wildly inconsistent and streaky, and we don't know what weaknesses will be exposed in a 7 game series.

I'm just going to wait and see how they do in the playoffs.

I agree with you there... we'll just have to wait and see... at times this season we looked like the best team in the league and others one of the worse. It's definitely very frustrating for everyone here...

That's no one fault's but your own...

T-Mac never lead a team into the second round, nor has anyone on this team for except argubably Mutombo back in 1995.

Blowing up wide open layups is a sign of fatique. Finish needs body control which requires strength.

You would think a TRULY GOOD TEAM would show up to play EVERY NIGHT regardless of adversities...agreed?

Makes you wonder why it is so hard for this team to show up for 82 games. That's not too much to ask, regardless of age or health.

Oh I do, I think they will up to their seeding ;)

Completely depends on our GM and Owner, if they are willing to pay some dough (like the Suns are/will be doing to ALL their players) and are willing to hire some good overseas scouts (like the Spurs and Mavs) then you might be pleasantly surprised. Otherwise, the team will go as far as our Front Office personnel can pull out more tricks from their hat. They need to solidify our backcourt and PF positions for the FUTURE (not for immediate gratification), and then we will be fine, and will be in as solid a position as the Spurs are year after year. I think the key is our Front Office people will have to avoid being short-sighted to please the fans/media. We need a solid youth movement.

Great teams are rarely forged in the regular season...

Well... showing up for the full 82 games is very hard... that's why there are so few of them, and the few who do, are very good.

I actually think that all 3 are equally just as valuable. Marion is really underrated.

I don't understand how there's a single player or team for that matter out there can possibly NOT show up for every game?

I mean what's the INCENTIVE NOT to show up? Their doing what they love to do and they all share the same goals (winning).

I guess from an engineers logic, I will NEVER understand that.

Are you saying you don't have off days at work?

Think of it this way.. do you show up and do your best at work every single day? There are days when you just don't have it, others when you have personal issues... etc etc... they are human..
