To make things worse, lots of layups by MJames, Tmac etc did not fall down. Frustrating ....

See that's the thing, why is it ROCKETS seem to "beat themselves" every night lately? After a while, what difference does it make....if you can't win you can't win.

Right now i'll be honest, I expect this team to go to the Western Conference Finals. And that is NOT a ridiculous expectation.

Its just frustrating to see a ONCE GOOD SHOOTING rockets team turn to this. What is up?

He probably will once they clinch a playoff spot... I don't think he cares where they end up in the seedings (6, 7, or 8).

I'd also rather have a fully rested and healthy (relatively) T-Mac and Yao, rather than try to win every game possible, and have them both be 80% (or worse) going into the playoffs.

Well, you mmight try to tell that to their opponents for about 55+ games this year, they too thought it sounded easy to "just stop their 3-pt shooting".

I told you before the game, it is a loss, deal with it.

If we dont knock down wide open shots, we cant beat anybody in this league. Spurs had similar problems in the playoff last two years.

what the heck is the matter with TMAC? I haven't heard anything about him getting hurt. I just see the brace so if anyone knows the scoop on his injury please say so.

Well explain this, why is it so hard to guard the perimeter?

The only loss in the last 10 where I'd say the Rockets didn't beat themselves was the Spurs game... they played better.

The Rocket are obviously not as good as a shooting team as they were at their peak... but they're not as bad as we've seen the past two games either.

These things happen... don't waste too much time worrying about it... because before you know it, they'll be free-stroking once again.

How many freebies the Suns team miss. We cant win if we dont knock down open shots. When Bowen was hitting, it opened up everything. We miss Juwan.

Did you not see the hip injury? That was basically only a week ago. He had a hot shooting game against Utah and Portland, but he hasn't had the same explosiveness since the Cleveland game.

He's going to need a game off soon.

Well if they keep losing like this, do you think they can still make it to the playoffs? I mean now I'm concerned about not making the playoffs.

Well, yea... if they lose every single game left in the regular season, then everybody should be worried.

Something tells me that they won't though... they'll hang tough and preserve... but it won't be as easy as it seemed just a week ago.

By the way, who here HONESTLY believes that the SUNS are better than the ROCKETS?

    I sure don't.

Phoenix wants the 1st seed so badly, let's give the game to them and we can secure our 6th seed.

    Yah it is...

It might not be such a rediculous expectation if they were 100% healthy going into the playoffs, but they won't be that even if they take the next 8 games off.

We just have to live with what we have.

Our outside shooting IS the problem in the last three-four weeks or so, IMO. Like it or not, we win when our outside shots drop (not even when Yao and T-Mac have their averages does it mean that we win).

Our shots are JUST not dropping, and going into the playoffs (hopefully that is) we are going in without our shots dropping, and that is very, very dangerous and disappointing.

Sura has been having a case of the Steve Franciatis lately where he is just playing stupid ball out there with dumb turnovers and terrible shooting
