The Rockets will never get the respect they deserve from sports media... We're playing good enough to be the #1 seed in the East!! Maybe after we take out Utah in the 1st round they might start giving some props...
    Shut your piehole Barkley!!

True, Rafer did struggle from the field, but u gotta like the 9 to 2 assist to TO ratio...

Rockets don't need feel good comments or stories from anyone that covers the NBA(ESPN, TNT, ABC). I rather have it the way it is and have the Rockets keep doing what they are currently doing, sorta like Iron Maiden and great metal acts that don't air play to sell out arenas(no ass kissing).

yes but is it too much to ask for to have a decent assist / to ratio and a decent shooting percentage?

Dad I made straight A's except I flunked math.

I just want him to take less shots. he was 3 for 12 right? Nash didn't take near as many shots as he did.

This always happens after a game where he shoots ok (40% or better). He thinks he's on fire.

no reporter will write "the suns, who used thier starters for the entire game..."

by writing that the starters played most of the game emphisizes that they were trying to win. thier reserves didn't play most of the game. their starters didn't play sparingly... they played thier best guys for the majority of the minutes and the rox still won.

Looking at the replay of the last play of the game. Did Rafer leave Barbosa open for that three?!?! Good thing Nash went for the first pass.

You guys talked like Yao has won the game for us last night. So what has Yao done for us in the 1st half when Tmac was carrying the whole team for the 2 quarters on his back? Would you please answer me this question, if you can?

He got 12pts, 5rebs in the first half. This is the answer. So what? Is that bad?

Both you two stop the nonsense please! The game belong to BOTH of our superstars. I am so glad they don't think/act like the TOF or YOF on this board!

u may be a Tmac-only-fan, so i understand your question.

imo, the winning against the suns is a joint effort. other than yao and tmac, the role players also played very well.

every player has his peak and trough. pls don't always focus on a player's less than good play, becoz every player has such a performance.

I just wanna say one thing about this pic...

This team looks like a REALLY CLOSE GROUP. I know every team does this for whatever reason. But the picture looks...like warm and fuzzy.

    Maybe its just me.

If I remember correctly the Rockets in the past played the Suns undermanned and the second game of a back to back the earlier games they played the Suns. This is the first time Phoenix has played a full strength and rested Rockets team. I think we can fare well against anyone.

Also, Phoenix played all out to win that game. Amare was screaming after plays. Steve Nash was trying to take over the game and the Rockets actually played him well. He had a number of turnovers last night. The Rockets just need to take this confidence they have gained last night and use it to beat the Jazz.

Of course it isn't too much to ask for. It's nice to have a point guard that scores, but if he can cut down on TO's and dish the ball effectively, especially against a team that we are consistently turnover-prone against...I'm fine with that.
