Yes. Even we are underdog, we still have a chance to beat them. Suns were beaten by Hawks in Phoenix on 10-Feb. We are a team much better than Hawks.
Tough game, very tough. Please Rockets, Stop Barbosa, Nash Amare and Suns' 3s. We have to pley great defense and i think it wil be all about T-Mac, because I'm sure they will take Yao out of the game, like they did it last time. So i hope we win and get this HCA! T-Mac bug night: 38/9ast/8 reb Suns will take Yao out of the game, but he should be a grat rebounder and blocker: 12pts / 15 rebs/ 4 blk Rafer, Shane, Juwan, Head and the rest will continue their good rythm. Rockets 110 - 106 Suns GO ROCKETS
Depending on what Phoenix does with their starters , Rockets win/lose. phoenix comes out with all the starters for most of the game = loss starters for maybe half, bench for half = rockets win. i'm hoping either way we'll win it, but I gotta feeling we're going down to the wire with utah. Rox: 95 Phoenix: 101
Rockets need to play their style of game and not the Suns. Rockets should win. I hate the double and triple teams the Suns will use against Yao be men and play one on one.
Yao will be doubleteamed. Tmac and other perimeter players this time will fire up and win the game. I expect Suns rest their stars especially Nash. Yao 15p/12r/3a/2blks 106:92 Rockets win.
From the Arizona Republic... Good. A win against the starters should give the Rockets a lot of confidence going into the playoffs.
I copied this from today's USA today-sports page- think this about right -we belong in this 4 spot just below the Western elite. This is a fine achievement. I am proud of my team. Through Saturday's games; last week's ranking in parentheses: 1. Dallas (1): Golden State is the only team the Mavericks haven't beaten (0-2) this season; they get one last chance Tuesday at Oakland. 2. San Antonio (2): Tim Duncan is the forgotten man in the MVP talk. He shouldn't be. 3. Phoenix (3): The little things are big things to the Suns — shot 90.6% (87-96) from the free throw line in a 4-0 week. 4. Houston (8): Rockets are clicking on all cylinders at just the right time; arguably the most difficult team in the league to match up with. FIND MORE STORIES IN: NBA | National Basketball Association 5. Detroit (6): Pistons are trying to get their bench rotation set for the playoffs. That's their biggest concern. 6. Toronto (10): Unheralded Anthony Parker had a big week, averaging 24.0 points and 4.0 rebounds and making 16 of 31 three-pointers. 7. Chicago (4): Bulls lead the league in average home attendance (22,160) and overall average attendance (20,219). 8. Denver (9): Had winning streak stopped at eight in a row by Memphis on Saturday. 9. Cleveland (7): Center Zydrunas Ilgauskas expected to be an important factor in the playoffs. 10. Miami (5): Dwyane Wade is quickly getting into a groove, averaging 34.5 minutes a game in his last two outings, both Heat wins, averaging 19.5 points, 5.0 rebounds and 5.0 assists.
Watch your tone. The Phoenix announcers were impressed by how well Lucas stayed with and bodied up on Nash last time in PHX which kept him from making easy assists, and as I recall he had a better game than Rafer that night. I would support JVG increasing JL3's minutes slightly to keep Rafer fresher against a high-energy opponent like PHX, regardless of how well Rafer is playing.
I AM THE MOST FIRSTEST! YAY! Novak will wear a nice suit and tie! Spanoulis will get a triple double while eating a gyro! Sura will dance like a funky robot during halftime and then retire! Tsakalidis will tear a phonebook in half, then miss 5 consecutive layups - while eating a gyro! Chuck Hayes will get 49 rebounds, then give all his money to charity! Yao Ming will arrive at the arena standing in the bed of a giant monster truck driven by Randy 'Macho Man' Savage! Randy 'Macho Man' Savage will play point guard and dish out 17 assists and 3 flying elbow smashes, 2 of them to Rafer Alston! Jeff Van Gundy will yell a lot and make faces like he has terrible gas! I am going to go to the bar, drink many beers, and watch the game on a big TV! Or maybe I won't!
