We need to hamper down on defense and others need to step up. The suns are used to this pace. We are not equipped for this and will end up in a 15 point loss. Defense will create our offense.

The suns are shooting .611 percent, yet we're leading at halftime

Yao needs to get mean and nasty...get those elbows up high and clear out some room.

He doesn't use his height that well underneath, he should try to dunk it more often with authority, elbows out !!!

Suns have our number. Unless TMac keeps his game up, they are gonna take over. This has to suck for Yao because he's not made for this tempo

T-Mac with 25 at the half...

Nice block by Yao on Amare to end the half-- too bad Amare caught the block and hit the J at the last second.

no its really his upper body. his lower body is as strong as it gets. but his upper body is so weak. if he improves that, he'll dunk those so easily

I love the feel of this game. We've held Phx to around fifty and have kept the game slow when we have the ball. Oh yeah, and T-mac was disgusting as well. That always helps :D

I think Suns will rest some of their starters in the 2nd half ;)

Monster first half for TMac, All Star, All World.....IN SHARP CONTRAST...That was an utterly "whimpy" performance by Yao, embarassing. He is completely gassed. Seriously, I can't remember when he has looked this slow and unagressive. Not in a while. MVP Yao come back!

We can't give up 61% shooting on our home floor. What's amazing is the Rockets are up 2 at the half in spite of their lack of D.

And screw you, D'Antoni. I never wish injury on anyone, but if Nash twists an ankle or Amare blows out his knee, I'm gonna laugh my ass off. The Spurs are resting everyone tonight in Memphis and this a-hole is running his starters out there like it's a damn playoff game.

we need to pick up the D. this score is just too high at halftime.

can anyone recap the first half for us folks who can't watch the game? just sort of give a feel of the game.
