The game is going to be played at playoff intensity. It should answer some questions about how we would match up against them if we see them in the playoffs. There should be a group of clutchfans at the game being loud. One question, I think I remember Bill and Clyde saying the there was a ceremony for Hakemm starting at 6:00. Is this true? And if yes, everyone needs to plan on getting there early.
My understanding is the ceremony will unveil the monument/statue at 6:00 and then do the HOF jersey unveiling at halftime.
This game better have lots of Phoenix rockets war feelings, or else I will be extremely annoyed (especially at all the backless stools out there).
I can NOT wait for this game. The Rockets have a legitimate chance to beat them, but Battier has to play. I am not confident that without his perimeter defense, which we need against the Suns, we can beat them. His offense would be useful too. I hope we pur it on thick and shut all the teams up out West who think the Rockets are a walk in the park. GO ROCKETS!

Does anyone like our chances not just tonight but in a potential playoff? The Shaq trade was so good for us until Yao went down... They'll probably own us for the rest of this season, but next year Shaq and Nash will be older and we'll have our perpetual mismatch back in Yao. I could just be an idiot though. Maybe we'll get big games from our 4s and pull it off! C'mon ball movement.
Steve Nash's Age and Shaq's Fatness is what we have to take advantage of. They will tire out pretty quickly. I saw play aaron brooks, that is a huge mismatch for Steve Nash IMO. Steve Nash is like 30+, and brooks runs 50m/h. There is no way steve nash can contain aaron brooks. He probably has a chance against alston or bobby, but against brooks, no chance. RA has to take advantage of that. If brooks can tire nash out, he won't be making his 3's. Steve Nash isn't exactly slow, but his age doesn't exactly make him a consistent runner. As for Shaq, that is probably our only problem. We will have to double team him. As for Amare, force him to take outside shots. Remember, suns at in our house. The refs won't be so damn bias this time and give the amare 14 free throws just for the sake of making a record.
It doesn't seem like the Rockets get it up for the really really big important games. Remember Boston. This game is really important so look for them to lose. I hope they prove me wrong.
What gives you that impression? They got up for the Hornets at home last month(T-Mac never left the floor). They got up for the Fakers. They got up for Denver. The only real egg they've laid lately is in San Antonio.
man..i've never been to a rockets game..in the whole 14 years ive been watchin this team.. i was supposed to get tix..but the person couldn't come... they suggested playoff tix would be better im scared about defense...and will tmac explode?? AB should get more PT... and about the tix...i guess ill wait for the playoffs...
3 meanigful games starting with the Suns. They killed us in the first quarter of the last game but we showed we can hang with them in 3 quarters. We need to go 2-1 in these games at least.
