I like how Josh Jackson tried to cut off Harden from getting the inbounds pass and got knocked on his ass.
That was great! It’s normal for teams to get complacent with guys resting, 1st seed locker up against worst in the league. We came through in the clutch, Tucker was amazing and we got contributions from most guys. Love how we finally got a buzzer beater for the win and the excitement was not taken away by replay and Tony Brothers! Anyone know how long ago we got a game winner at the buzzer at home? I can’t think of any. Harden had some game winners but never buzzer beaters. 62-20!!! P.S. The Suns commentators saying this is just our year is exactly how I feel. Remember in 2012 when we tried to make it to the playoffs and lost at home vs Suns and a few in a row to end up 9th. That’s when everything went wrong at the end and now it’s the total opposite
MDA needs to go Pops on Capela and Anderson. They have vital roles to play. 36 years old JJ is playing better than Ryno, who has gone into a deep slumber since the NO game. Nene put more effort in the Bulls game than Clint. We will be doomed in the playoffs, unless they come to play every night.
EG must play against them. I think Harden's hand is bothering him, otherwise he would be shooting a lot better. Rest Chris. It's a "must" win for the Rockets. Gotta bring our A game. Pops will have 'em ready against us. Go Houston Rockets!
We need a win to get home court advantage for the playoffs and we can also sweep the Spurs. I say play.
Bought tickets to see Ready Player One last night, and we had to leave the house with about maybe 4-5 minutes left in the game. I had been half-watching it because the Rox were playing like they intended to lose to the worst team in the league. (This is why I am NOT in favor of sitting guys out completely to 'rest' them - sure, cut their minutes, but don't freaking screw with perfect chemistry right before the playoffs!!! GRRR!!). So anyway, turned on the radio to hear the last bit of the game as we were driving to the theater. The Rockets were creeping closer and closer, but couldn't seem to get a stop. Then Harden hits the 3 to tie, and it seemed like it would end up going to OT. Then the radio guys described what I can only imagine was a crazy ugly shot from a Suns guy that went in with slightly over a sigle second left. Knowing what I know about the Rockets, and how quick-twitch we would have to be to get off a good look in that span of time, I said to my wife: 'They're going to throw it in to Gerald Green and he is going to hit a 3 for the win at the buzzer.' And then like 30 seconds later, BOOM. Listening on the radio, I couldn't tell from where he hit it, I was imagining from somewhere out on the left or right extended end of the 3-pt line (instead of the corner), but otherwise, when I saw the clip, it happened almost exactly the way I imagined it would happen. That's a pretty good feeling, when you know what a team is capable of, and they actually DO what you KNOW they can do. True story Man I cannot wait for the playoffs.
