that's why he's so bad in 4th quarter blowouts. he gets complacent like all the stars do when it's a blowout, but his game pretty much requires him to be sharp and motivated. he's not the quickest or most explosive guy. tricky fouls, fancy dribbles, step back 3's. you don't just lounge into those. so like you said, when he's not motivated (understandable against the suns when the 1st seed is clinched), he just looks awful.
I know its a scrub team, but watching ISO Joe get back in shape and play well is huge. His outside shot is still sadly broken.
Exactly why yes not the type of player that benefits from extended rest down the stretch. We need him resting a little but playing enough to be finely tuned and in rythym.
