If the Rockets get spanked at home by the Suns, I blame myself. Last time I came to a game against Phoenix, it was early 2015 and they blew us out. Harden was completely out of it that night. Ironically he was shut down in that game by PJ Tucker.
i turned this game on at 62-48. in a minute of play daniels has hit 3 3's. it's crazy. i almost feel like i've never seen him miss a 3 against us. between parsons having 2 games where he started at least 6-6 against us this season (how many non-centers have one such game this season?), montrezl going crazy against us with the clippers, lou will, brewer going 7-9 (brewer 7-9!!!) i think with the lakers, and daniels' crazy games (second game with 6 3's?), there's no way any team gets lit up by their former players more than us this season.
so even bender gets more "harden rule" calls than harden. i would say "they seriously got together and called that a shot?" but it was tony brothers so now i understand.
d'antoni's insistence on playing harden when he clearly doesn't care is so weird. why would he not just rest this game? so strange. harden is playing like in 4th quarter blowouts. just drifting and trying to stay on the perimeter and not get injured. just rest him in that case. has phoenix played this well this whole season?
that sequence off the gerald green missed euro layup was comically bad haha would rest harden and clint if we're down like 17 or more going into the 4th though. this is a preseason game tbh. if it's 10... then they'll definitely try to win. astros just scored though
I know this game doesn't matter. I know CP3 and Gordon are out. But it's still brutal to watch. Harden is playing. Capela is playing. This team has been so good for so long that you forget they're capable of laying an egg.
