You can tell from the reactions of the Suns personnel they are really into this game.. If we keep fuking around on D they might take this game from us.

This wouldn't be surprising. The most Rockets thing ever is to drop a very winnable game right as the team starts to look like they're hitting a stride.

Harden is not a good leader, he never comes to play every game. He'll decide to play when he feels like it. Sad but true.

Yup, since the [first game back] all-star break(including first half of tonight):

    96/249 = .385 FG
    29/91 = .318 3PT

I'm pretty sure DMo is the leader of this team.

what you are seeing is the effects of mcfail running harden into the ground earlier in the season... harden is worn down... thats why he has been missing a lot of free-throws lately

Yeah Dmo has been pretty bad on pick and roll defense.

Teams are attacking Dmo on the pick and roll a lot more now and it's putting the team defense in a bad spot. They are forced to live with going under screens so Dmo doesn't either give up layup/fouls/alley oop.

We saw the exact same thing vs Dallas with Monta Ellis. If a team has a dribble penetration and an athletic big to alley oop it up to, Dmo has consistently done bad vs those combinations.

Just off the top of my head:

CP3/DeAndre: We were forced to let CP3 shoot mid-range shots to prevent the alley oops that Dmo kept giving up in the first 2-3 matchups vs them. We had to pray that CP3 kept missing those shots.

Ellis/Chandler: First game Dmo kept giving up alley oops to Tyson Chandler because Beverly would go over picks and let Dmo help. Last game Monta Ellis shredded us with his mid-range jumper

We need Dwight back big time for defending that play. It's consistently put the defense in a pick your poison situation.
