The zone is supposed to prevent penetration, and give up the outside shooting. If we cannot stop that, then something is wrong with the way they play the zone. You have to pick what you want to defend against a team like the Suns, defending penetration is far more important than defending the 3's IMHO. Sometime they will win by hitting a high % of 3's, other time will miss more. I'll take that bet in a 7 game series.

    To each his own.

an aside - can't wait to watch Arroyo play and defend Nash. See if he brings the same 'tude and has enough to rattle Nash like he did with Alston and esp. Head.

After last night's game. I said to myself," This fu[<in' team will never ever be a great contender unless we bring in an offensive freaking coach that will dominate and instead of trying to play a team(Suns) like you can shut their offensive game". It's pure crap game we played against the Suns, and where is Hayes and Barry! our good to go hussle guys. After Bowen took the brick shot above the baseline, man i was really pissed at JVG, man!!

CD is not stupid not to see his game being played on the court. JVG better shape-up or he'll exit at the end of the season. Straight up, Baby!!! :D
