Yea, but T-mac is playing like he's 35... he doesn't have the explosiveness tonight. Marion is jumping all over the place... that's how T-mac plays when he's healthy.
I don't like the defense of this game, in fact, every game against the sun. Everybody missed their defensive assignment. And Head kept running around headless on the defensive end. Head sucks on deny entrence.
We just don't match up with the Suns, because they can shoot lights out and we can't keep up with that type of offense unless we ourselves are red hot, which happens once in a blue-moon. The Rox are a low-energy team that can't shoot well...the anti-Suns basically. Oh well, at least the Suns remind us that we're not in their company yet, healthy or not. Only elite team we can play well against are the Heat, simply because we match up well with them and they play a similar type of offense. The Rox are REALLY good in that type of tempo. The Suns force us to play a style we don't like and we can't play, that's why it's lopsided whenever we play them. Basketball is all about matchups, the Suns are the worst matchup this team has ever played against.
I haven't seen much games, but what's with that Luther Head love going on? Dude can't hit a thing. And his jumper looks like random event..
This defense scheme sucks. Double/tripple teaming Nash messed up all the defense rotation. Should let Nash beat the team instead of letting the 3s created by Nash's penetration beat the team.
When you can't shoot, you can't beat teams who can. The Rockets shooting incompetence is exposed for all to see. And when TMac is not up to par, who are the shooters? Ming is doing his best, but an NBA team MUST have more than one or two shooters. Who can't shoot on the Suns? Role players. Role players. Role players. Role players. You have to have them. The Rockets group is just not up to par. Why they don't fix this, I have no idea. Who is a pure shooter that has come here since JVG has been the coach? Barry, maybe. And it is such an OBVIOUS deficiency. Get a shooter!
That's why we should not double team Nash. He cannot win a game by just scoring but he can with all the passes he kicked out.
I am a JVG fan, but I lay the responsibility for this one on him. It seems that players are comming in on random order
