We need control 3-pointers and have somebody drive into the lane. TMAC had 0 FT, Skip 0/3, all losing signs.......
Anytime Ryan Bowen takes a shot the Offensive play we planned impoded. . . . again Ryan Bowen sucks Where the hell is Swift? We are not playing him because JVG has menstrual cramps about him being late for practise by 2 minutes. Give me a break, I rather have lazy athletic Swift over reverse affirmative action Ryan freakin Bowen.........
Head has been playing like **** for some time now. Unfortunately Alston cannot play 48 minutes. We also cannot ask Tmac to play pg because we still need someone to guard nash. Damn it, Head, play with a head! And Tmac, step up and play like a franchise player! We need you pull your head out of your ass to win this game! Attack the basket and get to the FT line please!
Yao disappared the 2nd quarter. Should carry the team when everyone else was off. Shot over the tripple team, would you?!
I'm not watching the game - I'm in Chicago, so I'm just following stats and the yahoo updates. But to all those calling for Barry over Bowen, I'm pretty sure Bowen would be in there to play the 4. Do you want Barry defending Marion? Do you want Barry playing ahead of T-Mac or Bogans? My question is where's Chuck Hayes?
JVG designed a great scheme beating Suns fronting defense on Yao. But Suns coach quickly altered his defense plan on Yao: now they just contend to let Yao get the ball. However, when Yao got the ball, they will double or tripple team him. Yao were able to pass the ball to outside, our guys just could not making a ding... Now it is up to JVG to scheme somthing else to get Yao the ball and the shots, in addition TMac and others have to step up as well.
Triple team at times....I was screaming at the TV for Yao to shoot. At least I feel more confident with his shots....Urgh... JVG should do extensive shooting drills more. Hit the open shots, people!!!
Yao will be forced to force shots over the defense if no one else makes an outside jumper. Either that, or Yao will need to play 10-15 ft away from the basket, get him involved in the position early on, have other players run all over the place awaiting a sharp pass from him (i.e. utilize him as the Kings used to utilize Divac/Webber in the high-post to avoid double-teams on him and have more motion on offense).
T-Mac has got to drive it in, he got one dunk, but that's the only thing he's got from close range...
