when will people realize scoring a ton of points is pointless when you give up just as many? The SG's for the Warriors are salivating for Friday.

i know it's a little strange i didn't bother to watch against jazz or suns because i thought they were sure thing wins. hopefully this will let us all know that it's a team and when all play well together we get good results including the players that are injured we should be ok when all of the top 6 players are back

All our players care. However, most of the players on the court during this game are poor offensive players. Only Brooks was decent during this game. Beverley,Garcia,Casspi, and even Jones ( his past few games notwithstanding) have historically been weak offensively. Bev is a defensive specialist,Howard is a defensive all star, Jones has not established himself as a scorer, and Garcia was never a very good offensive guy even though he shoots 3's well. We needed offensive playmakers on the court and when Harden went cold there was no one to produce buckets. That's why we only scored 88 points. Play making, breaking up the opposing offense by attacking the basket and high scoring ability are the greatest assets a player can bring to a team.

I guess you mean players who can create their own shot, right?

Guys like Jones, Garcia and Casspi are not necessarily bad offensive players, but their effectiveness is based on their ability to play off others, not creating on their own. Even those players can be successful, if you have a game plan with lots of screens and cuts to provide open shots, but we don't have that (yet).

Such a system would help a lot, especially if you use it to create aslo better, deeper postup/P&R opportunities for Dwight.

A FG% of 40% is not acceptable for a starting PG. Dragic and Bledsoe hit on over 50% of there shot. Scoreing 19 points and over twenty points on 50% shooting indicated that the player defending them did a poor job or that these D rag. and Bledsoe are almost all stars.

i'm going to say what people don't like hearing. But we can get away without having harden or lin, as we've always been able to score. But Chandler? No eyeball test or Analytics even can evaluate the greatness to team basketball chandler provides. He is the hear, the soul and ridiculously good looking face of the franchise.

We beat the Spurs, that should mean something. Suns and Jazz don't mean ****, they're a lottery team.

Not yet but it can go that way. I think the leaders on this team, Dwight, Parsons, Lin and Beverley should have a talk with each other and then approach Harden because Harden needs to be reeled in.

I certainly don't mind hearing it, because I think so too. I think it has become very clear that the Rockets need to prepare some space for Chandlers next contract. That's why I have been advising that the potential Asik trade brings in an expiring.

Ridiculous. You say we miss Parsons and Lin and then say trade for Rondo. Rondo is doing what Lin is currently doing now, sitting on the bench. Can you just allow Lin to have another season with the Rockets to see how good a basketball player he is before bringing in a total jerk like Rondo who has some weaknesses that would not fit well with the Rockets (foul and 3 pt shooting). Can you also see when Rondo comes back if he can take a bunch of scrubs and elevate them before making him some great savior for the Rockets?

I would love to see AB start, he seems like a good playmaker and he's super quick against opposing defenses. This guy has talent!

I didn't see anything impressive about either of the Suns guards in this game, Dragic or Bledsoe. Bledsoe made a lot of hesitant and tentative moves a (the type CFers get all over LIn for) and Dragic didn't exactly break down the defense. Sometimes PGs shoot 40 percent and set guys up, Rubio shoots worse than that often.
