He's dead right here. Effort and energy was not there tonight, at least not to open. Wasn't there in Utah. We'll improve here. But definitely frustrating to watch, here in the moment.

32% as a team? Not really...

Casspi was actually 5/7 in the 2nd half, with 2/2 for 3pts.
AB was hot from the 3 as well (60% all night).

Did you mean that we dropped in % after the difference hit 10 points (4 minutes to the end)? Also not true:
In the last 4 minutes Brooks made 1/2 from beyond the ark, and both Casspi and Bev were 100% (1/1). The only one shooting badly was Harden, who made 0/3...

Stop. Melo's team is 3-13, and he's 1-15 in clutch shots this year. His efficiency is worse than Harden's and he also doesn't play defense.

Harden usually has better shot selection though. He's usually very efficient. He's been off this year more often than last.

I wouldn't count clutch shots as an indicator. But he scores much more efficiently than hardn. He actually makes his shots look easy whereas harden has to depend on someone to hack him to the ft line.

Inferring from his postgame interviews, Dwight seems to be annoyed at parts of hardens game. But that doesn't mean they don't like each other.

If people can remember last year against Phoenix

    15th April 2012
    Harden
    34 minutes, 5-18 shooting, 0-7 on threes, 6-11 on free throws, 4 TO's, -20 +-

    Tucker
    39 minutes, 8-13 shooting, 1-3 on threes, 4-4 on free throws, 1 TO, 20 +-

Is tucker turning into his boogie man?

Totally agree. Melo is just killing his team. I would never take him in any trade. I would prefer taking Stoudemire. Harden is not. Harden usually contributes nicely also to team ball. Tonight he obviously felt that he has to be the hero because Chandler was not there. The more he struggled the more he got obsessed.

Btw, I forgot to mention, harden had howard, parsons and Lin to cover for him this season. Melo has jr smith. Nuff said.

If you're talking about ISo vs ISo, melo is better. Maybe other aspect of hardens game, but if you want to draw an ISo play, which mchale seems to be the only thing that mchale knows how to do, go with melo.

There is no reason to blame only Harden . Every player may have a cold night . Harden is not the reason why we lost tonight , it was the team effort as howard and McHale stated .It was only AB and Pat fought all night long , didnt give up.Rest of the team seemed like they dont even care

1-15 on clutch shots is bad no matter how you spin it, shots can look easy but it doesn't matter if they don't go in.

How is he scoring more efficiently than Harden? Harden TS% is .612, Melo's is .514. Its not even arguable, Harden right now offensive is >>> Melo. Also Melo is averaging only 2.5 assists.

No, I'm not talking about ISO. I wish McHale could limit Hardens tendency to do that, but Harden seems to be in love with it. IMO Harden would score much more if he drove from a pass and not from an ISO.
