BS!!! I credit Asik with winning 1 or 2 games this season and he outplayed Howard both times. Lin has been our most consistent player all season
Completely agree. just saying if one should start I would go with AB. Beverly is so much better as a pesky defender off the bench playing less minutes. I would be ok with Lin starting but he's playing so well off the bench. it's a tough decision.
I'm going to prescribe Jeremy Lin's off-season training routine for James Harden. Learn to play off the ball and make catch and shoot 3s Practice his weak hand driving to the right Defensive stance and awareness
Parsons is probably more important than Lin. But are you really gonna suggest Lin makes no difference? I like Bev for his hard work and hustle out there but he's given up 20+ the last two games against scrub teams we should be beating. At least if Lin gives up 20 he'll score 16-18 of his own to make up for it. And especially in games like these where Harden isn't doing anything, at least Lin is another capable play maker we can use. Am I so wrong to suggest that Lin is at least a little important to this team and that if we had him for any of the last two games we would've won at least once?
The biggest joke about this team is all the easy layups they allow. All teams have to do is not just rely on the outside shot and consistently drive the ball. No one seems able to stop them. Even in the San Antonio game, it came down to Parker just missing his layups. This team is going nowhere unless this defense sees some drastic improvement. You can't just out score every opponent every night.
No, he is also good at creating a score from hitting the glass (He won us the game as the Spurs with his work on the glass) and has a good floater. Most of you guys know so little about our personal.
Somebody better had been playing hurt. If not we'll all have some serious doubts going forward. But these last two game does make you wonder who the real mvps of the team are and who are not the leaders.
Rockets won games last year without Parsons (including against the Trailblazers, and one game when both Harden and Parson were out). I really don't understand why they are doing this badly right now. It's not the players who are off the floor; it is the chemistry with those who are on the floor.
He's been playing well as a starter too. If Bev is becoming less effective defensively because of the wear and tear of long minutes, Lin should just be starting again then
Asik has not won any games. That's BS. And Lin has played well, but not having Lin should not equal getting scrubbed against the jazz and suns two games in a row.
This is a false analogy. When Parsons went out Harden was left as the team's sole playmaker. In the Spurs game, rockets still had two playmakers in Harden and Parsons. If Parsons is out and Harden and Lin are getting blown out by crap teams, then you can talk.
Now that I've gotten over the fact that you're an obvious troll ... ... that was sort of funny. Sort of. Please still leave.
Hell no. Brooks and Harden on defense is going be comically bad. Bev is our starter and for good reason. We need someone who can somewhat cover up Harden's poor defense.
