For this coming draft? I read somewhere that it might be someone named Gay. Seriously.

Doesn't sound worth tanking a season for.

I have to remind everyone again: Jeff Van Gundy is going no where! Let's enjoy every game and enjoy the lottery.

yao is better than trading KG for cap space. marketing and ticket sales are crazy with yao. if i were the wolves (and KG wanted out) i would want yao.

Don't you people ever blame anyone else but Yao. It's automatic now...people always blame the guy with the max contract. Get it through your heads:

NOT EVERYONE WITH A MAX CONTRACT IS CAPABLE OF CARRYING A TEAM.

Yao played like crap tonight and he carries a portion of the blame, but it's a TEAM loss...TEAM. More than anything else, it was our perimeter pick&roll defense that cost us this game.

I think you're confusing Whining and Venting. In any case, the reason Yao was benched so much today was because he didn't even TRY to fight off Diaw.

The guards definitely share some of the blame, but for all of the first half, Yao did not will himself in the game. PERIOD.

I'm a Dang'ol cool chinese guy, so there is no bias whatsoever here. Yao could be black for all I care and I would be just as disappointed and upset at the lack of passion in his play.

I got the feeling that JVG will have to go if things continue to be this. Rockets need something major to happen to change the momentum, and since it's virtually impossible to trade Yao, the coach might have to go, whether it was his fault or not.

If you fast forward a month, you could very well see 12 straight losses from now.

Becareful what you wish for ;)

lol sad but true. if tmac is going to be out for a long time it's a possibility.

besides, gay is a SF. 6'8" 220. we would have to trade the pick.

I'm speaking more from the viewpoint of wanting to know if they're going to have a reversal of fortunes or not. I'll keep watching, but it'd be nice to know if a team that looked so good on paper is ultimately going to stink on ice.

You shouldn't say the Latter phrase of your Exclamation under ANY circumstance. But I believe that God will and has always take care of me.

On a different note, "Dang'ol" is such a funny and versatile word. It best describes the Rockets thus far and very very well defines our current president.

    Thanks DANG'OL!

the only thing i'm glad of is that stro finally got a double-double but this team just can't find a groove...I don't know if it's the schedule or what but this is an awful start to this season..

clearly JVG has problem, when you play with Sun, you have to slow down most of the time, our men older, taller, how come you running with sun? you are in their rhythm, that's why they beat us so easily.

Stros stats look good on paper. But he had quite a few boneheaded plays.
