They play very fluid, just non-stop ball movement and rotation and a bunch of players that can ALL shoot the outside shot and make it with disturbing regularity. The Suns of today remind a lot of the Kings a few years ago, just very crisp passing and fluid offense, but that's what their team is built for. However, it wouldn't work with ours, we're just not built with a bunch of guards and big men that play like guards. This is exactly why I would much rather play the Spurs 10 times than the Suns/Mavs 10 times, because we match up so well with the Spurms
They're getting a ton of open looks from downtown. Our defense just looked clueless tonight, which normally isn't the case.
You're a CONTRIBUTING member along with several others, Do you have any say with the Rockets Front Office?
i know i'm wrong, but every game we lose i come closer to wanting yao to be traded for KG. i know the salaries don't matchup and we would have to wait 'till the summer, and by then KG would probably be a knick or a net or whatever, but it's just so frustrating and embarrassing!!
Let's see:

Let Scott Padgett sign with the Nets.
Bob Sura out with injuries/operations.
Add three and a half new players in Stromile Swift, Rafer Alston, Derek Anderson and Juwan Howard. (Half because Juwan was already on the team, but missed a huge chunk of last season because of knee & heart)
T-Mac out with back spasms.
Mike James traded away (for Rafer Alston).
This just isn't the same team we had last season. It's a new team trying to find its rhythm. Simple as that.
Man, this is pathetic. Did you see Luther looking at the bench with 2 minutes to go down 13? These guys are so mortified because of Van Gundy's rigidity that they freeze. I was a big proponent of Van Gundy but he's such a stickler that guys don't play naturally. They're thinking about what Grumpy thinks instead of just playing. Bring in an offensive assistant or get rid of JVG
I know you all are probably going to say that I'm just frustrated and these are frustrated words, but here goes: From an OBJECTIVE standpoint, Yao is just flat out disappointing. I have lost virtually all faith in Yao. Although the Rockets Chemistry is to blame for this loss, a big part of the blame ONCE AGAIN falls on Yao disappearing since the tip off. Unbelievable.
T-Mac isn't going to solve all our problems, even if he would've helped us squeeze out a few wins here and there. As I have said before, some of the pieces just don't fit, and further shuffling of players will have to take place, hopefully sooner rather than later when the season is half way in the toilet and we're too far behind.
