haha...you make it sound so easy. Nash uses his quickness, speed, and numerous screens to get to the middle. IMO Mike James is the best candidate to guard Nash.

I don't think so, I think if we can be more concentrated on transition defence and don't post up Yao too much without leting Scola touch the ball, we have a good chance to win. BTW, Bonzi should practice 5000 layups everyday. :D

First of all he does not play bad vs the Mavs. Second of all, Jazz and Suns are matchup problem for Yao. He's fine against the likes of spurs and mavs. If you think he sucks without Tmac try looking up stats when tmac was injured in 05-06 season and 06-07 season. yao averaged like 25pts and 12rb in those times.

I think this is a legitimate issue. They fould Yao every single game without the fouls being called. Yao has a lot of faults, but this definitely affects his game, lowers his stats, keeps him on the bench, and causes turnovers, which cause the Rockets to lose games. I don't think you would be saying this if this was done to Dirk Nowitzki or Steve Nash.

um, we beat a jazz team ON THE ROAD.

we hammered the spurs team w/ physicality.

we BARELY lost to a dallas team.

really, and this is all when our team hasn't really had one great game together yet.

we lost to the spurs on the road w/o tmac by 4 and tied w/ them w/ 3 mins left?

so really, u dont see the potential. well, too bad.

The suns are overrated, they play NO DEFENSE, Yao had no gas he should of scored on them at will.

You beat them by not giving up the 3 pointers and challenging the jump shots and get back on D.

Between bonzi, scola,Yao ming we should own the paint

Yao sucks. Becoming like a whiner. What's the use of complaining on every call when you know the refs. are not going to change it. As for physical play, after 6 years he should accept that by now and not be intimidated. I think he should revert back to his rookie year and stop whining. It seems more like an excuse for poor performance.

I do hope YAO can win a game for us when TMAC not on the court, it will help him to build his confidence..
This is a freaking tough week: SPURS/SUNS back to back? check our record with TMAC/YAO playing those two teams? Dont see a lot of differences

We should give SF3 more PT, he is ok right now. I believe he has more potential than Alston. And he played 23 min withou a TO. :D

I'm glad Scola's doing a good job.It was nice to see Steve on the floor as well as AB0. Even giving time to Snyder isn't a bad idea. We shouldn't forget that most of the backcourt is aging. Using the depth and seeing what might work will hopefully be good in the long run.
My expectations of this team has never been like that of the elite teams. We just aren't good enough even with a healthy T-Mac and Yao but I will be somewhat satisfied if they make it to the 2nd round and give a good account of themselves throughout the playoffs.

How are you talking about no defense.

    The Pnenix suns shot

    62% FG vs 39%

    52% 3PG vs 42%

    48Rebound vs 40Rebounds

And Houston only lost by 10

    WHY

    25 T.O. vs 9 T.O.

If they shoot just 45% from the field they win this game.

At least 2 of the fouls called on Amare were legit charges. The post play was let go for the most part tonight.

and was actually penetrating and creating for others, instead of just handing the ball off to the superstars. But, on cue he also did pass to Yao. He will only get better

I doesn't seem like Yao Ming is making an excuse, when they don't seem to do this to any other player in the NBA. He had a poor game, but in the end, the attempt to keep down a Chinese guy and prevent him from succeeding in the NBA is getting tired and old. Even your signature is racist, so your comments are pretty much prejudiced and biased.

I think that without racist referees, Yao Ming would clearly be the best center in the NBA. If they gave him the fouls on defense that he deserves, and wouldn't have emasculated him on defense so that he can truly be an imposing shotblocker, he would definitively be the best center in the NBA, better than the up and coming Dwight Howard, probably an even better big man than Dirk Nowitzki. If that's how Americans try to keep him down, by cheating against a Chinese player who has potential to be one of the top players in the game, then I think that there;s going to be Hell to pay later on down the line, when everybody figures out what they are really doing to him. that's what happens when you are really the mountain, and the challenger, and the others are just hype, I guess people will always cheat against the challenger to keep you down.
