Scola was bringing the tenacity and toughness the Rockets desperately need. He was attacking Amare. He had a hot first half. I thought they should of gone to him more in the 2nd. The 3rd quarter killed us with RA leaving Yao in the game. It was clearly obvious that he was tired and unproductive. It could of been a tight game if RA pulled Yao during the 3rd instead of after.
Step 1: Let Francis play!! - complete
Step 2: Start Francis - TBD
Step 3: Rockets success - TBD

pretty good review of the game. Also the Suns had a field day with their offense. The Rocket's defense just can't get it done now. For one thing, with both Rafer and James at the same time, they had Rafer try and contain Nash while James had to guard the off-guard. James' strength is to put on-the-ball pressure on the player bringing the ball up. I don't know why James wasn't placed on Nash instead of Rafer.

May I remind you that with defense, we still lose to this team.

Phoenix has won 11 of the last 14 meetings between the teams

Defense was terrible, the rockets haven't defended the 3 pointer well oin the last 3 games,They are not challenging shots.

    DEFENSE and OFFENSIVE EXECUTION.

We have the pieces it's just work in progress.

i don't think we're okay without T-mac. that's the one player we must have. i do however think we're okay without Yao. as proven last year t-mac can carry us to a damn good record in the west without Yao.

You guys need to stop dwelling on this ONE pic. So what, Amare touched Yao's soft wittle hand and a foul wasn't called. 5 fouls were called on Amare, so don't blame the refs. Yao played awful, no excuses.

I don't wait to get under .500 this early in the season, though I am actually excited about this team. Watch out after Thanksgiving on into Christmas.

fans who believe otherwise are dillusional at this point. T-mac is a huge part of our team, and more than most realize.

We would give Phoenix fits with Staceymac and Yao getting a days rest between games. However, I woud like to see Steve and Rafer force Nash to the baseline instead of letting him drive into the middle of the paint.

Once Nash got around Steve, Steve stopped and looked with no response.

Compare our record without Yao over the past 3 years vs our record without Tmac. Night and Day.

Agree but the Suns just own us. Van Gundy couldn't stop them and it took a huge effort to beat them last year in the last game prior to the playoffs. Had we met the Suns in the playoffs it would have been 4 and out.

But Yao is really too tired,we might beat Spurs without Tmac, but never is the Suns.

Yao should be a finisher instead of a passer. In today's game, we should give Scola more touchs because he is a better ball handler than Yao, in this case, Suns can't double Yao, Yao will definitely play better. Yao can easily get really close to the rim with Scola posting up, we'll have a lot 2nd chance points near the basket. If anybody takes a look at boxscore, we shoot 107 times, which is 38 times more than the Suns' shoots, but we just can't finish them.

3 pointers won this game and transition defense. The spurs beat the suns because they don't leave the 3 point shooters they sacrifice the 2 pointers and don't give up the 3 pointer. They turn steve nash into a scorer and don't allow teh dumb three's. They challenge the freakin shooters

I am glad to see some action from Francis and AB tonight. Scola played great and I think Yao and Bonzi looked mentally and physically tired. Snyder showed glimpses of his ability to drive but overall like Steve, still rusty. I feel that AB could defend good PG like Nash, Kidd quite well if he is able to get some playtime to improve.
