Just confirmed it with nba.com. James+Rafer has -12 eff each. While SF3 has the highest on the team. **** aldeman for not letting sf3 play. I say fire aldeman, trade yao+rafer for kobe. and hire rudy T. Championship babe!
We are 13-38 without Tmac over the past 3 years. Please explain which Rockets you have been following?
I do believe Yao is top center in NBA, but when he plays team like suns, he just cant catch up suns quickness and atheleticism...
Yao's a HUGE part of that problem defensively. The guy is just waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too slow to be an asset against a team like Dallas or Phoenix which runs him and up down the court. His man beats him off the dribble everytime. He's way too slow to help out defensively. I mean he's just awful against Phoenix and Dallas everytime on both ends of the court (and actually against Utah as well as Boozer simply owns him as does Okur).
Some of the people posting shouldnt be allow to post....lol. When Yao scored 34. He was the best thing in the league Now he's having a tough time and he needs to go. We have some MORONIC fans that don't know the game and are real fans. Watch the game and shut up! Be lucky we arent the Kings.
francis played okay. didnt impress me at all. hes defintely not showing why he should be playing ahead of rafer, mike james, or luther head, who has been strokin it this game. adelman is only playing francis to give mike james and rafer a rest. francis is still our 4th string PG.
yea earlier in the season of last yr when he has a bad back. not a fairly healthy tmac, busting him for 30+ easy.
I can't believe how Yao gets bashed after a couple of bad games!!! This is the best Center in the game right now....If you dont like Yao...go be a Heat fan.
No doubt Yao is totally exposed tonite. But it's not because he is soft like most of you suggested. He runs back and forth the whole game and couldn't get a position in the post, where he is most comfortable at. Do you see he makes a cut in the middle and try to layup with his body moving sideways? That's just not the way a 7'6" should score.
yao owned tim duncan 1 on 1 last night. what are you talking about yao has his faults and for those interested I'll be leading a seminar on yao's shortcomings after the game... but being fatigued doesn't make you "soft." haven't any of you played sports? when your body shuts down it has nothing to do with your mentality. yao's fine. at least tmac being hurt has allowed scola to break out
as a huge francis fan, i couldn't help but be real excited to see him back and playing. as expected, he missed some jumpshots, but from what i saw, he still has that ability to get to rim! cant wait for him to develop. hopefully he wont just get sat on the bench again when tmac comes back. as for yao ... ya he's definitely struggling and it's frustrating. but for those who are like "trade yao!" ... calm down. he'll come around. good play from our pgs actually. rafer has hit some shots he hasnt hit all season. MJ seems to have gotten his shot back a lil bit too. Scola has some pretty darn good post moves. I missed the game last night so I didn't get to see it. But dang, he's impressive. We really really need to sacrifice something to get back our transition d.
he is one of the best players in the league, that's all...he hasn't been getting the calls and, being human, he even has off nights
Then why is the gap closed to 2 points when steve francis is in and extend to 12 points when rafer+james comes back? enlighten me
