Hopefully Marbury will be cooled down in 2nd half and Rockets start making their shots.

Here's an interesting stat on Stoudamire: this season, 7 games, ONE assist. Not per game, per 7 games.

I think this is why Yao is better. Although he just got stuffed by Amare though... a good player with fire comes back and dunks on Amere, I'd like to see that.

Yao's conditioning is always his biggest problem.

Yao got 8 boards in the first half, 6 in the 1st quarter. He has been pretty aggressive so far.

No kidding. He was out halfway through the 1st quarter. How can your STAR player not be ready to play more then 6 minutes per quarter ?

Maybe Yao should be put on IR and skip the road trip.

It's no use. Ming is not ready to carry the team. He is not strong enough to power his way to the basket. He has somehow lost his touch but didn't add the power move that he needs to succeed in the NBA.

How many times was he blocked? It's sad really. He is showing why he wasn't the Rookie of the Year last year.

And all this from a hugh, I mean big Ming fan.

Oh yeah, cat lost his touch in the first half. That didn't help matters.

Maybe in the second half they can pick it up but it's not looking good for Ming. There is no way for him to "improve" this year. He can keep playing like this and expect to be a major part of the offense. It looks so terrible when and if he gets the ball down low. Did Duncan ever look like Ming we he got the ball down low?

And what happen to the crisp passes out of double teams. Why is he going up against 3 defenders?

Steph is not abusing Steve, he's abusing Mooch.

Mooch needs to learn how to play defense or how to clean the wet spots on the floor; cause those are the only ways I would allow him on the court.

I am listening on the radio, so I don't know who is guarding Marbury. I should say, who is assigned to guard Marbury, because no one is actually guarding him. He is lighting somebody up big time. Mobley should keep shooting when he is hot, but I wish he could learn to not shoot when he isn't. Ming has several rebounds, but he sounds really weak. His lame layups are being rejected. And Francis still can't pass. Petterson kept saying that he was throwing at Ming's feet. He also thrown several away. On the radio it sounds like the Rockets are not playing with much energy. Also, the Suns are parading to the line. The Rockets have barely seen the line.

JVG is probably wondering what he has gotten himself into. Talk about a work in progress. In all my excitement about the first six games I kept having this feeling that any minute the Rockets could go into "crap mode." Well, they are there. A big second half comeback is hopefully on tap.

    where to start:

    1. call up toronto ,espn reported they are shopping Mo pete and Alvin williams, lets give them Mobley and change

2.cato misses EVERYTHING and so zones leave him open while doubling ming. Cato needs to be on the bench and Taylor should start or Griffin if we even still have Griffs contract( i heard we already cut him)

    3.moochie should be killed

4.jvg isnt as good as rudy. Atleast Rudy knew that Cato wasnt a pf and put griffin in there.

    5. average team. Early easy schedule was fools gold. Will miss playoffs again and the pick goes to UTAH if not in top 9

Ummm when Francis is getting schooled it is Moochie Norris' fault?

I am smelling a lot of lame excuses in this thread....
