Charvo, take your head out of your ass...

What's the plan for the second half? Maybe our 3rd quarter can be like the Utah game..

PHO seems hard to stop defensively..only if they were missing their 3s we might be ahead

I actually like this move. We were still within reach, and we need a well rested Yao for later. Plus, Yao only got one foul, which will work in our favor.

I've got no problem with stuffing inside to Yao every single possession, but Yao needs to show he can hit the hook shot again. Yao can't get a dunk every single possession. He's gotta be able to hit the hook shot in order to be effective.

Are you a Suns fan? Or simply a Yao-hater? Could you please stop posting? I'm so annoying to see your posts.

    i am serious.
if we don't want to/don't know how to utilize yao on the rockets team, we might as well trade him to some other team while he has market value.

it will be good for both the rocket organization and yao.
for the rockets, at least they can get some quality/potential players in return, and for yao, not wasting further time under van grumpy and have a chance to blossom and play up to his potentials else where in the league.

    a win-win situation.
i am really frustrated seeing how yao ming is being utilized....

I'm not watching the game (I can't), just reading this thread... any chance, y'all think, that some of Deke's attitude/energy might rub off on Yao?

or perhaps it is more complicated than that...

Considering we are playing against such a fast, athletic team we are not doing badly.
We have to give our best effort to slow them down and make our shots. I hope Yao will do better in the 2nd half. I also hope that Wesley,Sura and Barry will make some outside shots which can make things easier for T-Mac.

though amare is 0/6 against but he will keep on challenge yao offensively in the second half.
If the game ends now, the media will write amare outplayed yao completely scoring 11-2 bla bla balh... yao just get no respect from the medias....

Wow are they fast and good shooters.

We need to stop double teaming, make Nash be a scorer and not a passer, and defend Amare down low but give up the 15 footer to him.

    But, man can Phoenix shoot...whew...

Andre looks good though...he had one awesome no looker to Deke that Mutombo fumbled away...it was a laser beam.

how do u expect yao to improve his play in the second half, if he's invisible to our guards!? (sura, wesley)

Three point shooting is the difference. Even their 6th man Casey Jacobson scored 3 threes, they keep shooting like that no way we can win, you just can't defend that. Hopefully the Suns come back to earth but they are a scoring machine.

In the recent 3 games, yao just have 6,9,4(half game) respectively.I believe that T-Mac is the best palyer of rockets and yao is the second one.But why does the guy like sura always treat yao as a role player?

second that:) My guess is that JVG wants to use Yao in the second half, by saving his energy and fouls. Hopefully, Yao can come out on fire in the second half. With they crazy 3 point shooting, and we are still staying close. I would say, if we have a good start in the seoncd, this is really our game, and we need a big Yao on that.

I suggest you watch the game. I didn't see Amare was a finesse player. I did say he is hitting the skill shots more than Yao. Amare hit at least 2 jumpers from what I've seen. Yao needs to establish an offensive game that goes beyond dunks and layups.

i do believe we are getting better, in the latest 2 or 3 games, our offense has been improved, wesley and barry bring this team chemistry.
