Doesn't help Frye is doing his best Amare impression out there. Ugh. Ariza actually made some smart plays in the second half, but after that big three, he's reverted back to his crappy Rafer Alstonesque three point shooting ways.
Here's the Ariza three in regulation ... <object width="640" height="505"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/S1l27UaVQX8&hl=en_US&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/S1l27UaVQX8&hl=en_US&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="640" height="505"></embed></object>
That's because his game-tying shot was a ridiculously stupid shot to begin with. No one's going to Ariza's side because of conveniently-timed luck.
What a difference a year makes, last season a completely inept Channing Frye can't even stay on the court against the Rockets in the Portland series, now he's tearing us apart.
seriously dudee? You make one big three and you take 3 more in the OT? MAKE A FREAKING PLAY. The rockets need to waive trevor, he makes a good play and makes 10 crappy ill advised ones after.
that 3 he made was very ill advised, he was guarded very well and was fading away. He's missed at least 6 layups this game alone as well. Why does he shoot so many damn threes?
Yes,I too am surprised, but the system with Nash at the helm makes all the difference. We have no one who can defend spacing 4's.
