It seems everyone is predicting a blow out I just hope JVG can stick to our half court style and enforce transition defense, dont throw Novak and JLIII in there and hope they can outgun the Suns If we can hold the score in the 90s, it's as good as a W to me!
Last night loss is a good loss, as long as it brings us a win tonight. I bet JVG will keep changing the game plan tonight. I hope: 1. We learned more about who we are after the loss. 2. V-span gets the chance on Nash. Even Head has many off days, why not give V-span the chance? 3. No midrange shooting from RA. 4. Make JHo open for the stationary long range shooting. 5. Battier shoots the 3. (He was off last night) 6. Head for midrange. 7. T-mac keeps the tempo. 8. Surprise from Bonzi/snyder? Yao is a factor for the Mav, but not for the Sun so there is no excuse for tonight's loss. We need this one to formally start our champ's journey.
WTF NBA? Isn't this the second time the Suns have had a off day before they played us? And we play them in the second game of a back to back.
this will be a tough one with mcgrady coming off a long night...hope his back is ok.....so many matchup problems, dont' know where to begin...the home crowd should help..if we steal this, it would be huge.... rockets win 102-99
Tmac goes off for 65.. Rafer, Head, and the rest of the gang get popcorn and start watching the Tmac show. but Rox lose 101-65
for my 2500th post i say suns 109 rockets 95 the final score will make the game look a lot closer than it was.
i always laugh when people say this...i think you necessarily have to outscore the other team in order to win...
i hope we find a way to pull out a win, but the only way that that is going to happen is if we do the things we couldnt seem to do last night: - rebound - get points from the bench
Suns 99 Rockets 94 --McGrady scores 25 points on 10/20 shooting, but has his minutes limited because of his back --Howard and Battier contribute, each scoring in double-figures --An anti-Alston thread is started midway through the second quarter --Amare Stoudamire misses a dunk attempt --Steve Nash records another triple-double --Shawn Marion ends up with the "ESPN Play of the Day" --A thread is started, stating that the Rockets will never win a championship with JVG as head coach
Rockets Lost tonight Phx - 115 Hou - 94 T-mac plays limited minutes because of his back.. We all get excited because our bench gets some points on the board Amare goes for 23 points 1st half Nash gets about 14 assist tonight Deke will be dead tired but somehow get 8 rebounds This team is exhausted and wil have nothing in the Tank after the 3rd Qtr.. Even if we had Yao we would still lose.
hard to imagine a win especially with tmac being worn out and probably pretty stiff. the upside is if he comes out and plays his game we at least know that this back treatment is for real.
Motivated by last nights loss, Rockets stun the NBA realm and defeat the Suns on the 2nd night of a back to back. McGrady takes care of unfinished business and leads the Rockets to a win with 40 pts.
