It really pissed me off. We were still in it, and he chucks up another one. If Billy simply isn't ready, we HAVE to get another point before the deadline.

There is nothing you can say about JVG not doing a good job coaching tonight! The fact is he did an awesome job!!!

Suns had to try hard to win this game against our tonight's lineup and this game will boost a lot of our players confidence resulting more wins!! this is Rafer and head at their fullest which we will see in playoffs!!! along with what Deke has been doing!

Well at least our starters match up well against them. Rafer is having a stellar night. Head and Battier is decent. Juwan's shot is not falling but neither is Diaw. The difference is the bench numbers. Barbosa hits shots after shots while Lucas bricks and makes dumb decisions.

Said a long time ago that we need to play Bill instead of JL3, even with Bill's TO problem. JL3 is a ballhog anytime he is on the floor while what we really need is a backup PG. Why oh why can you get this, stupid JVG...? A hell of coahing job for containing the Suns though.

I can't believe Bonzi can't start with Yao and Mac out. JVG pulled bonzi with 5 minutes to go and he's one of our only interior scoring options that rebounds.

He did give Bonzi 17 mins, but I have a feeling his back will be hurt as soon as T-mac gets back.

The next time we play the Suns, what about taking a page out of Avery Johnson's playbook: let Steve Nash get his but guard the 3 point line at all costs. Could it work?

I think we put up a great fight, and I am proud of our role players' play. Just imagine if we had Yao or Tmac to close out the game. It just makes me believe more in our role players, and more in the game strategy that we should establish other players in the 1st half, and let Yao/Tmac save more energy for the 2nd half. Our role players can play, and we should use their potential to the fullest.

Its interesting to compare how the benches of both teams played. The Suns ran with 7 players tonight, while we went with 9. But their bench outscored ours 26-19, with 20 points from Barbosa. The Suns are a prime example of how you don't need to play a deep roster; just solid players who understand and fit the coaches playbook.

As a team they had 5 players in double digits, 3 with 20+ (the usual suspects Nash and Amare). If anything, they're great at sharing the scoring load, made easier by Nash's ability to dish off (14 ast). Marion made a huge contribution too with 14pts and 14 rbs. Sure, Deke had 8 rbs in limited minutes, but he would've been more of a liability in this game due to his lack of speed and inability to last playing the running/ transition D game.

This game showed us how much we lack a reliable 3rd scorer, as well as a potent spark off the bench. JHoward has been playing well of late and Battier, despite being out defensive stopper, should probably warrent being more involved in the offesive sets. Bonzi, as much as he 'could potentially' be starting, would certainly be more useful to us coming off the bench and getting more playing time.

With my expectations of this game, I'm not upset over this loss. I can only look forward to seeing them again. No Yao, no T-Mac, and the Suns need to drill a s***load of threes, out-rebound us, and we must shoot under 40% for them to leave here with a win. No reason we can't knock them off in the playoffs.

not with 5 minutes and down 6, 3 after 3 after 3 after 3. if rox had nash, by all means take the 3, but when your butt is camped out at the 3 point line with a player on your butt as well, not so wise to jack it up

Bonzi did well in the time he played...once he gets into shape he will be a great player of the bench.... now if NY could hurry up and buyout SF3...

if bonzi gets traded or doesn't get much time, the rox will be a lost cause in the playoffs, its not potential, HE CAN

JLIII shot too many times tonight. Nothing wrong with that if your shot is falling, but he needs the awareness to make the extra pass to more realiable offensive players. He's no scorer, and he should know that.
