The Rockets were aggressively doubling Kawhi in the first 2 games. The difference is that in Game 2, Parker and several others stepped up. But I agree that the Rockets should be even more aggressive doing this going forward. The Spurs have no reliable playmakers outside of Parker. Manu can't do it anymore at nearly 40. And Mills and Green are scorers, not creators. In theory, they could dump it into the post and have Aldridge initiate the offense, but he's been AWOL in the postseason.

I would like to see Troy Williams in the 1st half tonight. Maybe Dekker but I don't think he's quick enough for Leonard.

Anyway, I'm telling Williams this: you're only getting minutes in the first half. You get 6 fouls. I don't care if you score a point, garner a rebound or steal or anything... I want you to beat your chest and scream and get the crowd jacked up. I want you to be skin-to-skin with kawhi every moment you can, in game or out. I want you to harass him, degrade him, talk so much **** he can't ignore, stick your thumb right up his butt. Two games in a row the Spurs have played agitators. We need you to play stupid, play dirty and get under kawhis skin. Throw him off. Hack him. Tomahawk playoff fouls. Body him up. Push him. Get a tech and try to give him one. Flop. Flop every time you can. Flop and flail and kick your arms and legs out like a damned fool. Pull his jersey. Box out wiTh elbows high. Walk by Pop and say some **** about looking like Gandalf with acne. Go make a crack about hurt knees to the bench, say tony Parker lil b**** knees couldn't handle even one more flop.

It's like that. Cut their hearts out and feed it to wolves. Piss in the hole in their chest.

Yeah home court means little against the spurs in the playoffs. We need to hit our shots. We need to play a half step quicker than we did in game 2. The Rockets played game 2 like it was a regular season game. No more of that.

Never noticed "SOTHPAW" (sic) license plate before. LOL.

Need Harden jersey with that weirdness on it.

I don't what the expect. This team is bi-polar. They could come out gunning and aggressive on both sides and take the Spurs to the wood shed. Or they could walk in the building thinking the Spurs will roll over because they lost Parker in which case the Spurs will make the Rockets were a dress and bend them over a table. Which team shows up tonight?

I just checked the stats for the playoffs

Everybody has brought it except for Harden, Ariza and Anderson who have all absolutely bombed.

Harden averaging 38% from the field and 25% from 3 for all playoff games.

But he also has each team's best defender + double teams on him.
The lesser numbers are by design. Not by lack of effort.
Already won 1 series in 5 games and have HC advantage in this one so far.
Can't say James has been totally 'ineffective'

He definitely hasn't been ineffective, but those shooting percentages are kinda inexcusable for a player as good as he is. He needs to take smarter shots. I really wish he'd stop settling for the contested three off the dribble, he's been trying it all year and he's been missing them all year. Why doesn't he try to go back to his midrange game more often? 49% of his shots have been threes in this postseason, and that's too much if u ask me, especially when you're shooting 25% from deep.

I'll be watching for the same thing in game 3 that I was watching in game 2. Who secures the 50/50 rebounds. And overall total rebounds.

New in game 3, I will be watching Harden's drives. He was 1-7 in the restricted area (w/ NO FTs in that area) in the last game. This has to change, big time.

Will also be watching how the Capela lobs are going. Got great looks in game 1 and shut down in game 2 (like how it was in the OKC series).

#HomeRyan would be nice. Also, Ariza, we need more than 2 points.

Rockets need to start this game and put the hammer down. The sooner they get the Spurs "role players" doubting themselves in the wake of the Parker injury, the better. Kawhi will be Kawhi. But at home, the Rockets should be energized and the Rockets role players more comfortable.

I expect "Home Playoff Beverley" to be a wild man.

    Lol...

It does though. If someone gets chippy and you do nothing you're not doing it right. Not in my book. cross the line. Cross it so far there isn't even a line anymore!
