One last note before I move on from this game. We've only lost 3 games in a row once all season, and the playoff seedings were basically decided at that point. Even then, those 3 games were vs Warriors, @ Blazers, and @ Warriors.

    We will be fine.

This post is disgusting. We lose 2 Playoff games in RD2 against the Spurs and we are a failing organization? We improve by nearly 15 games and we failed?

If we go big in the paint we lose our 1 strength - we can't play down to SAs pace. Ryno needs to hit shots and if he's not then he needs to be pulled immediately for somebody who is, either Dekker or Gordon. Nene & Capela together aren't the answer. We have enough trouble scoring around 1 big how the hell are we supposed to score over 2?

I hear you. I was just speaking as a long-time player and even ref. I think it's human nature.

But it's over-simplifying and cliche even so, and your points are very valid. I thought the officiating was horrid, for sure. I still don't think that's exactly why we lost. We did not rebound well and there were tons of rebounds to be had on both ends. Cheers.

No logic. Just for us to win this series we have to win 3 consecutive games 4,5 and 6 wrapping it in our house. Or if we lose any one of those games while winning the other two we have to win game 7 on the road which has been a tough order historically in the NBA.

The Memphis coach eventually lost the plot due to his mounting frustration over the blatantly obvious arm chair ride the Spurs get night in and night out and publicly called out the the officials.. It might need a public outburst of that kind from MDA to expose these officials

This is not an overreaction, this isn't knee-jerk, I've had it with this dude. I cannot ****ing wait to trade Ryan Anderson, he is awful. I've had enough of giggling at the "road Ryan" jokes but this guy is too streaky and too weak in the post, any reliance on a contribution from him is a detriment at this point. I've grown to hate Ryan Anderson

Can we stop pretending Ryan Anderson plays "great" on the road? Dude has been asleep all playoffs and much of the RS.

Ryan Anderson right now is not alone in stinking it up because Williams has been Putrid, Ariza is inconsistent and Pat is missing a lot of shots he generally makes in his sleep.Eric is been another disappointment.I was encouraged by Harden tearing KL apart for a 30 point second half but he needs a few other guys stepping up.

sometimes I think Greg Popovich is in the locker room during pregame and halftime sounding like Zaza during his post game speech to the fans when the hawks won

    NOTHING EASY, NOTHINGEASYYYYYYYYYYY

Because it sure feels like the Rockets have to work for every basket and they get nothing easy. how many transition opportunities did we even have? The only one I remember was James Harden taking a layup and getting blocked by three people going one on three. No chance.

The Spurs are sending all of their guards back and having Pau or LA hunt for Offensive boards.

Harden needs to sprint up the floor. This jogging up the floor non sense really allows the Spurs to lock in.

Either way, I am hopeful our role players excluding Ariza wont shoot 17% from the floor again. That is astronomically bad.

it just sucks, Mike is trying to run their bigs off the floor and it really didn't work, especially in the fourth. He really wanted to punish them for playing two 7 footers and just the opposite is happening. They're getting offense of rebounds and put backs and we can't stop them in the post.

Those 7fters are some lean fast ones is the problem. Out of all the bigs on the floor, it's Nene that is the probably the slowest one and carrying the most weight.

Yes. Expect a tighter called game that favors Houston.

Too many of the guys weren't making shots is a huge problem.. It happens way too often for the kind of expectations and standards... This is awful. I feel so deflated for the rest of this series.
