Capela was great defensively, but the Rockets offense needs a post-threat to really take it to the next level. Look what the Gasol/Aldridge tandem did to us tonight.

The claim that Harden has more help than Kawhi Leonard is absolutely laughable. The Spurs lead the league in 3pt% and defense. They have a legit twin towers who destroyed us and made Anderson useless. They have a number of sharpshooters. Their roster is much more complete and balanced than ours -- it's not even close.

This is not about the Spurs figuring out the Rockets. When Houston plays, they 100% control the outcome because of how many threes they shoot. Their variance is massive and it's basically rolling dice out there. Think about that wide open corner 3 Anderson missed that would've tied the game. Think about the multiple threes we took that rimmed out. The Spurs had zero to do with that. They lucked out with surprisingly preferential ref treatment for a road game and the Rockets just missing too many threes.

Good news is we're clearly the eye test better team ...

Bad news is ... Its on national TV for people to see they handle clutch situations 10x better than us...

I was there the whole crowd was in this game. This was purley bad officiating. That's what killed my mood. I spend 360 dollars to watch the refs play not my rockets. Money straight in the trash because these refs have poor education on how to call a game

Another thing we need to do is push the offense. Make them run with us. That is what our offense is built for. Harden slowly taking it up the court is not going to cut it.

my favorite part was how they came in and set the tone early. The Rockets almost got off to a nice early start the fans were excited and they made sure to step in and set the tone. That's what I like to see.

Well. I don't know what to say. There is a reason Danton'i is absolutely owned by Pop's. He can't beat him. Everyone telling me all day we are going to destroy the Spurs tonight. I told them all don't be shocked if this immature bunch come out flat thinking they could mail it in due to Parker being out.

Now we find out what our guys are made of. Game 4 is truly a must win. How do we respond under pressure. Can Dantoni make any sort of adjustment. You trot that same offense out there and game four will be another sub 100 turd in the bowl of a game.

The Spurs have figured out how to guard the Rockets' others...The others are no longer getting clean looks at the perimeter. The Rockets have zero recourse if they cant make Gasol or LMA irrelevant. It really requires the Rockets too attack these two early in the game in P/R. Go and watch how the Warriors destroyed San Antonio...they force the bigs out of the paint... The Rockets may really need to play Sam Dekker more at the 4 with Nene/Capela...

The Rockets have always needed to hit 3's to win a series against a team as good as the Spurs.

Let's see what adjustments are made. I don't really think the Spurs figured the Rockets out, there is nothing to really figure out.

I was more upset with the lack of urgency or focus. The same thing happened against the Thunder. The Rockets take game one and then sleep walk through the rest of the series believing they can just turn it on at the end.

This was a winnable game for the Rockets, so was game 2; and they didn't execute in either game.

Game 4 is going to tell us a lot about this series.

Seemed like they only wanted to play good defense in spurts. But there were some utterly BS moments that blunted our comebacks, like that dogshit Simmons 3 to end the 3rd and Patty Mills' BS 6-0 run (mostly because of that phantom foul 3), both happening when we were down only 3. That made it a 6 point deficit going into the 4th and a 1-possession game into a 3-possession game in a flash.

    Series over.

Too many soft asses on this team.

How could make it happen that 3 key players shooting 0% in one game?

Do we really prepare this game?

I think MDA needs to be more patient with Lou. It's hard for him to get into rhythm when Beverley was handling the ball the whole time. I love Beverley but Lou should be the main ball handler when Harden is not on the court.

Don't know what else to say but Spurs playing big is killing the Rockets. The bench only scoring 10 pts can not happen. Harrell needs to get some PT. or go deeper into the bench. Rockets game has not shown up and if Anderson is not giving pts can not stand but what can team do?

Rockets playing midget ball while the Spurs play twin towers.

he has plenty to be mad at for sure.... but like any other work enviornment, working with a pissed off person does not effect the team in positive way

Did you see that spectacular signalling on the offensive foul on Bev? That'll be replayed over and over on sportscenter. I love it when the refs remind you it's really all about them

Also, that's 2 games in a row where the 4Q deficit should have been 3 and was either 5 or 6. Seems silly but Spurs regain momentum heading into 4Q and only seem to build on it.

We can win this series - but you've got to put pressure on LMA, force him out. And everybody needs to work on their floater. It was there all game.

I'm 26 years old. After I say about 17 years of really supporting this team and understanding the game of basketball, I can honestly say I'm neither mad nor disappointed. This game is the epitome of what this franchise has been since I've been really following them. Either we have the talent and lack the heart or we have the heart and just lack the talent. This version of the Rockets seem to be a little mixture of both. I just wish I was able to remember and fully appreciate Hakeem and co. during 90s

Hard to have faith when the Spurs turn it over 20 times AND WE STILL LOSE THE D*** game.
