Ibaka sucks just as bad and doesn't space the floor. Millsap or Taj Gibson are the answer.

Spurs were guarding the 3 point and collapsing to the restricted area. There was a lot of room in the mid range area. I dont care about the offensive philosophy, they need take advantage of what is given to them. They are not good enough in either area (3 point area, finishing in the paint) to completely ignore a wide open section of the court. I'm not sure if the numbers back me up but I would consider shots around the free throw line a pretty high percentage shot as well. Those were there tonight.

i know Harden played amazing today, but i can't help but notice his "me against the world attitude" today. Seemed like he was mad every play, either at the refs or at the situation. As a leader of the team, we need him to keep a calm, positive attitude. this loss hurts. hopefully we come out more poised, and run our offense better next game.

Tough night but we played at the Spurs pace for most of the game which is why even a 6 point deficit felt like a 20 point deficit. If we can't get our scoring to the 115 range then its going to be tough to win the series.

Anderson, Nene, Gordon, Williams scored a combined 12 points on 3 for 23 shooting, that can't happen. If we want to look at it from a glass half full standpoint, given those performances by the Rockets this game should have been a blowout for the Spurs.

I'm finding it difficult to maintain optimism after this one. As much as it pains me to say it, the defense of the Spurs has been stellar and the only way to combat that is for us to get something...anything from Anderson and Lou. Refs were bad in spots but what's new.

James can't do it by himself.

Think I'll go into enemy territory on Sunday. I might get in a fight, I might not...Depends on how the Rockets play.

I am pretty sure that whatever happened tonight will be considered a pre-existing condition and not covered.

    Spurs are too clever.

This loss was a complete disappointment to all the fans. Body language of some players show that it was a disappointment also to them. I'm afraid the Spurs will take advantage of this situation and win on Sunday too.

The starting lineup is broken. We have too many guys who have yet to see the court that may have something to offer. Dekker looked hurt last game and I dont think I'd be willing to roll the dice with him. But Harrell has to be capable of playing better D and giving me more than what I'm seeing from Ryno. We are also far too limited with Bev, Ariza, Ryno, and JH out there. The offense is effectively JH iso until 5 sec left on the clock and watch him take an errant 3 (which may miraculously go in), turn the ball over, or successfully pass it to a teammate who has little chance of scoring given the limited time remaining on the clock.

Next game I'd go Bev, JH, Gordon, Harrell, and Nene to start.

This team has the talent to beat the Spurs. Don't make them out to be some juggernaut. I certainly thought we had a chance, especially after stealing home court and Parker's injury. Problem is Rockets lose their poise to easily. There window, I think, is now closed. Our chance was to steal home court and win in 6.

Well, looks like Game 1 is the outlier.

    No surprise
