Either we win in a blowout or we lose in the end - we can't beat them in a close game, they are disciplined we are not.

This is who Dantoni has been his whole coaching career. A stubborn man who refuses to play and develop young players in critical situations because it makes him uncomfortable. To expect him to all of a sudden change his ignorant beliefs and expand the rotation is just wishful thinking because he will not and has never done it. And no matter how much we b**** about it nothing will change with this guy which is why he won't ever win a championship IMO. Just too rigid and stubborn for a guy who hasn't and probably will never win a damn thing

I agree. Stubborn perfectly characterizes MDA's approach in the playoffs. Not to mention a bit of arrogance with his "I don't care what you THINK you know" mentality. If Rockets lose this game/series, fatigue absolutely will be the biggest factor.

We came back from down 1-3 two years ago. Surely, we can come back from 2-3.

Force a 7man rotation into an 11man rotation by leading by 30.

Not a big deal guys, Lets go.

Rockets lead by 20 at the half, win by 23.

Rockets' overall ability to win this series in 7.....I have no doubt. But given the staunch 7-man rotation stance, fatigue will rear its ugly head more and more and possibly cost the Rockets this series.

But MDA has said he won't play even 8..let alone 9. He thinks 7 is sufficient because he knows better than anyone.

come playoff time, D'antoni will ride or die with 7 or 8 guys...this has always been known

maybe you'll see him sneak Sam Dekker into the game for a very short stretch to take it back to an 8 man rotation

if u take out the OT minutes, Harden played 38 minutes in regulation, Ariza played 35, Gordon played 38, Bev played 36, and Ryno played 30...maybe Gordon's minutes were a little high since he's used to a 30 mpg role, but that's not some absurd amount of minutes, y'all are acting like they only got 2 minutes of rest

let's get game 6 and see what happens in game 7

what he fails to understand is less people have to do more causing them to get tired at the end. It really is that simple.

he did a great job managing their minutes in regulation, outstanding. But overtime screwed up everything.

Quick. Find Shane Stant and Jeff Gillooly's number. Maybe they are consulting these days?
