If the ping pong Gods screw Minny they will be screwing us as well unless we get a top three pick. There definitely where a few teams tanking this season but Minny had to be far and away the worst and for that they may end up with the number 6 pick or better. Unbelievable. In the words of some infamous poster "never under estimate the heart of a tanker!"
Boston won tonight so they are tied with minny and will flip to see who gets the 6th spot. And if the luck of the Irish GM goes there way they could get a ping pong ball landing them in the top 3 and if someone higher than us gets lucky enough to get their lotto ball picked than Minny will get screwed but so will we. Got it?
It would be huge if Seattle wins tonight... and they're on their way to do so. Unless they pull a T-Wolf.
Given Rockets 34-48 Sonics 34-48 Warriors 34-48 Where would we be, 8th or 10th in the lottery race? It appears that all 3 teams shared the same conf. record (19-33) too. BTW, didn't watch the game but from the box score, Swift and Hayes played significant minutes and they both performed well, and Swift even got 1 PF only! I have high hopes on these 2 gentlemen so I'd keep them in our roster next season. This season finally over, this is the first time I follow Rockets' games this much and I am so delighted to share my thoughts here with you and learned a lot from many of you. No doubt this is the best Rockets Fans forum all over the world! Honestly, my daily duties were more or less affected considering that all the games were played in daytime here and I have to work overtime to compensate. I wonder if there would be any game threads for the WC games, if there is one, you will see me there.
My mistake AGAIN. I was going by this: http://www.clutchfans.net/nbadraft/lottery/ I thought it wasn't updated yet so I added the wins and losses tonight by the teams. Clutch is quick.
Thank you God! It'over!!! I am not looking forward to next season. From where I am observing I expect more of the same! I hope thate Les, CD and JVG prove me wrong by rebuilding the team. If they do its going to be a two season renovation. The big question for the future of the Rockets is what to do about Tracy McGrady!
Now here's the difference for Rockets promotion department to consider: When I hear JH scored 30+ and he win in Denver against scrubs, I have no interest to watch that game. When I hear Swift hit 8-11 and we lose against Spurs, I actually have some interest to watch that game, just to see how Swift does that, and if he can get better next season.
